• The purpose for this report is to discuss the
history of Dysons company development.
• While also addressing the economic condition
and its main products of production within the
household appliance sales.

3. Introduction
• Along with the development of society, now people became more
interested of household appliances requirement and now Dyson is
a company known all over the world as a result.
• The reason why I chose Dyson as the subject of my essay is that D
yson has a good reputation in the world. Dyson is a British technol
ogy company, the main design is manufacture heaters, bladeless f
ans, hand dryers and vacuum cleaners.
• the company was founded in 1978 by James Dyson (Joe Graham &
Son Ltd, 2015), at present the company has been the leader in the
industry, its main customers all over the world are in more than 1
00 countries

• Dyson's success is inseparable from the founder, James Dyson. (NPR,
2018)In 1979 Dyson came up with a new vacuum cleaner that had no bags
compared to traditional vacuum cleaners. Over the next five years, Dyson
perfected his design after more than 5000 experiments. Unfortunately, no
company was willing to accept his design, which prompted him to start his
own company.

innovation company made up of more than 1000 engineers from around the
world. At present, Dyson has professional personnel from different backgrounds to
create and improve Dyson products in Singapore, Malaysia and the UK，because
these employees had enabled Dyson products to maintain a stable market share of
household appliances in the market.

• According to the ZDNET，Dyson's profit was $1B
in 2018，and the company's profit increased by
33% (Eileen, 2019; Dyson, 2019)It says its "soaring
demand for Asian products" has fuelled its
technology investment. It also plans to relocate its
global headquarters to Singapore because it wants
to better support the company's manufacturing
business. However, Dyson intends to invest in
technology all over the world, especially in
Singapore. For Dyson, the company has a high-
tech manufacturing level, products are constantly
upgrading, even if Dyson's products are expensive
it still had the ability to open up a high-end
market. Dysons vacuum cleaner broke through the
traditional vacuum cleaner technology as clearly
shown. The use of emerging technologies to keep
vacuum cleaners working efficiently while creating
a brand image and higher opinion for the product
as a result which led Dyson to be popular all over
the world.

7. Conclusion
• To sum up, Dyson, as a home appliances
company, is constantly innovating, constantly
developing and updating its own products,
which is a necessary condition for a company
to remain profitable in the market. Dysons
success was met because of their value of
high quality, and they understood the quality
to be of importance to people since
customers will be willing to pay a slightly
higher price than the usual market price
when quality is there.
• At the same time, with the development of
science and technology, every company
should strengthen the research on new
technology, so that its own products are
more competitive in the market, so as to
maintain the long-term operation of the
company.
