 1 year experience Future Agriculture Leaders of India(FALI) is a major
new initiative of Action Platform to Create Shared Value in
Agribusiness and is supported by four leading agribusinesses.
Four leading agribusiness are UPL, Jain irrigation, Godrej Agrovet
and Bayer.
This is a unique program, designed for Indian high school
students, modeled in part after the Future Farmers of America
initiative. This program emphasizes basic technical knowhow,
interactive learning, lab work and enterprise development
Every week two hours is dedicated for interactive classroom and
three hours for practicum in five core modules of Agronomy,
Animal science, Horticulture, Agricultural engineering and
Agribusiness.
 Work With Ms. Nancy M. Barry is the founder and president of Enterprise
Solutions to Poverty and coordinator of Action Platform to Create Shared Value
in Agribusiness. She was President of Women's World Banking from 1990 to
2006, expanding the organization's network to reach nearly 20 million low
income entrepreneurs and shaping microfinance worldwide. From 1975 to 1990,
Ms. Barry worked at the World Bank, pioneering small enterprise programs and
leading work on industry, trade and finance. Ms. Barry has a B.A. in economics
