WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Bill Perry, managing shareholder of Gunster Law Firm
in West Palm Beach, has been appointed to the University of Florida Law Center
Association Inc. board of trustees.
The board serves as the primary support and advisory council for the University’s
Levin College of Law. Perry, a 1986 graduate of the law school, has become a widely
respected attorney in his field across the state, helping numerous businesses and
organizations address complex legal challenges.
“This is an excellent opportunity for me to give back and use what I have learned
over my nearly 30 years of legal practice and community work across the state,”
said Perry. “I am honored to receive this appointment, to work in an advisory
capacity and to join my fellow trustees to support the fundraising efforts of the Law
Center Association.”
Perry joined Gunster Law in 1986 and focuses on complex real estate development
and finance, condominiums and homeowners’ associations, commercial
transactions, construction law and mining law. He has been named one of the Best
Lawyers in America for real estate law every year since 2009, and is AV rated
through Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the state and county bar
associations and is involved in the Florida Chamber Foundation, among other
community organizations through a variety of volunteer efforts.
With his appointment to the board of trustees, Perry will help the Levin School of
Law continue to grow and thrive. He will assist with budgeting, facilitating student
mentorship programs and securing financial and volunteer resources for the law
school, while guiding the dean on key issues related to students and faculty.
