family law attorney and divorce lawyer, including the Paul May
Professionalism in Practice Award from the Broward County Bar Association
(BCBA).
Nominees for this award must demonstrate a strong commitment to
professionalism and act in accordance with the BCBA Standards of
Professional Conduct and state expectations. The award recognizes
decorum and integrity in young attorneys who are under the age of 36 or
have not been admitted to the highest court of any state for longer than six
years.
The BCBA looks for candidates who have used practice, activities, or
programs to enhance the standing of legal professionals and educate the
general public. Nominees should serve as role models for the larger legal
community and act as mentors to their peers. Recipients of the award
advocate for their clients while upholding civility, promptness, and
timeliness.
