Roles and Responsibilities
Study the Work Request as per product specification’s from the customer with Inputs
given by R&D Electronics Engineers (Team leaders & Project managers).
 Generating the initial design sketches for a given project by considering EMI/EMC
and IP requirement by taking as reference of block diagram & schematics and
component data sheets.
 Send the initial design overview to team leader, for suggestions & comments.
After implementing the modifications release the drawings of design verification
model (DVM) for fabrication.
 Issuing Assembly layout Drawings & instructions to Assembly persons for
component assembly,
 Designing, modelling, assembling & generate drawings with consideration of GD
& T for mechanical components using Solid Edge and AUTO CAD.
 Interacting with customers for finalizing the product design
 Generate part numbers using PLM software
 Dealing with the vendors for manufacturing clarifications.
