Profile of Vikas Gupta
Vikas after completing his MBA (Finance and E-Commerce) from Rutgers University, USA got
the opportunity to head a new initiative of Rutgers University’s Information Systems
department. Here he trained faculty in using internet as a new tool for teaching. Shifting his
base back to Delhi, he headed Business Simulation department (2006-2012) at AIMA.

Vikas administered National and International Competitions of Business Simulation. He
conducted more than 100 training workshops for Public and Private sectors companies, like
Reliance, ONGC, Indian Oil, Aditya Birla Group, Suzuki India, Dr Reddy Laboratories and
many others. He led representation of Indian team competing in Global Championship in
Russia. Vikas has also conducted workshops in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand and was
invited to Mongolia to conduct first Mongolian National Competition.

His 12 years work experience in India and US reinforces his belief that to be an effective
leader one has to be an adaptable decision maker and think like an entrepreneur.
