This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. 2. LIPHOFUNG CAVES
The liphofung historical site
includes a cave which occupies
an important place in Lesotho. It
is the smallest of the Lesotho
highlands development authority
LHDA reserves at about 4.5 ha
(11acres) the cave s were used
by the San people and other
Neolithic people. The walls are
painted and contain important
rock arts. The caves are in
Botha-Buthe district.
3. AFRISKI
Afriski is the only skiing
resored in Lesotho. It is
found in Lesotho Botha
bothe district.It is
located 3050 above sea
level, just below
mahlasela pass
4. MOHALE DAM
Mohale is the second dam in the
Lesotho highlands development
project, build as a back up reserve
to Katse dam. The two dams are
connected by a tunnel. Mohale is
the highest concrete faced rock
filled dam in Lesotho. The dam is in
Maseru district.
5. KATSE DAM
Katse dam is a concreat arch dam on the
Maliba Matso river in Lesotho.
It is 185 meters and the length is 710
meters.
A 320 meter long wirth 529 tunnel boring
machine used on the project.
The purpose of the project is to provide
Lesotho with a source of avenue in
exchange for the provision of water to to
south Africa.
6. KOME CAVES
According to developing heritage and cultural
tourism in Lesotho by Mabasia shao, Kome
caves are a group of cave dwellings made out
of mud in the district of Berea in Lesotho.
The main purpose of the caves was to serve
as a hideout from adversaries during drought
in the 18th century.
The name of kome comes from the Kome
family in the Basia tribe, the first inhibitants of
the caves.
7. SANI PASS
Sani pass is a
mountain pass
located in west
of kwazulu natal
and Mokhotlong
Lesotho.
There is also
sani mountain
lodge which is
the highest pub
in Africa.
8. CONCLUSION
In case one is looking for
the country to visit, they
should visit Lesotho
which is normally known
as kingdom in the or
mountain kingdom.
9. MALETSUNYANE
FALLS
Maletsunyane falls is a 192 metre high water
fall in the southern African country, Lesotho.
It is located in Semonkong.
THE WATER FALL IS ON THE Maletsunyane
river and it falls from the ledge of Triassic-
Jurassic bassald.
The water creates a reverberating echo when
it contact the basin of the falls.
