6. How is Your Behavior Assessed?
There are 10 items on
which you are marked
down for: Peer Relations,
Respect, Raising Hand,
Responsibility, On Task, In
Area, Working Quietly,
Following Directions,
Language, Completed
Work
Good behavior is rewarded
with “Good Bees” or
“Caught Being Good(s)”
Each day kids receive up to
200 points for good
behavior and are docked
points according to how
many infractions they
received.
Points are used to purchase
items in the School Store
7. School Store
School Store is a cabinet full of prizes each with their
own price in points.
School Store can be bought from on Friday or at the
end of the school week if there is a day off.
There are three levels of prizes and the prizes
increase in value according to their level.
Level 2 Students can buy from level 1 in School Store,
Level 3 students from level 2, and Level 4 students
from level 3.
8. How Does a Student Go From One Level to
Another?
All students start the
year on Level 4 with full
benefits.
If a student does not
make his/her day two
days in a row then they
will drop a level
There are zero tolerance
behaviors that result in
an automatic Level 1
demotion
Zero Tolerance Behaviors:
1. Weapons
2. Gang Representation
3. Destruction to School
Property
4. Stealing
5. Aggressive Behavior
6. Verbal Threats
9. How Does a Student Not Make Their Day?
Each Student can receive a certain number of infractions
before they do not make their day. This number depends
on their level.
Level 1- No more than 8 infractions
Level 2- No more than 6 infractions
Level 3- No more than 5 infractions
Level 4- No more than 3 infractions
10. How Does a Student Rise in Levels?
A student can rise in levels by making their day a
certain number of days without dropping a level.
This number also depends on their level.
Level 1-2: A student must make their day for 5 days.
Level 2-3: A student must make their day for 10
days.
Level 3-4: A student must make their day for 15 days.
11. Immediate Feedback
Each child is given a sheet with their level, day, and
chart for points at the beginning of each day.
Each child that is given an infraction will see it
marked on their sheet with a written note on why it
was received and at what time.
Each child can check at any time how many points
they have accrued by asking the teacher.
Each child is given a “Good Bee” immediately after a
good behavior is witnessed.
