Here are the steps to create a scrapbook about how your life began:
1. Collect photos from when you were born until age 5-6. Ask family members for any photos they may have from your early childhood.
2. Arrange the photos chronologically from earliest to most recent. You may want to divide them into sections by age (0-1 year, 1-2 years, etc.).
3. Add captions to each photo briefly describing what is happening, where it took place, and other context. Include approximate dates if known.
4. Consider including other memorabilia from your early life like baby clothes, toys, cards/letters, ultrasound photos, hospital bracelets, etc.

Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. Eunoia is the shortest word in English
containing all five vowels - and it means

16. What´s the origin of the term “OK”?
The term “OK” is probably America´s single most
successful export, but where does it come from?
The answer is that nobody really knows – OK?—
but here are some of the theories:
1.- THE FRENCH CONNECTION:
a) OK is an echo of the name Aux Cayes, the
name of a port in Haiti which exported rum to the
American colonies. This rum was apparently the
best available at the time, so its name may have
been used as a term of approval.
b) General Lafayette came to the aid of the
American colonists during the War of
Independence, bringing hundreds of French
soldiers with him. Supposedly, they often made
dates with American girls “down at the docks” or
“aux cayes”.
2.- THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR
a) OK comes from the Orrins-Kendall
company, which furnished biscuits to the Union
Army in boxes prominently marked “OK”.
b) OK means “zero killed” on a battle report
written by a military officer
3.- THE NATIVE INDIAN ORIGIN
President Woodrow Wilson (1912-20) is said to
have been fond of a Choctaw word meaning
“indeed” or “it is so” and he would write “okeh” on
papers.
4.- ALL CORRECT
Another president, Andrew Jackson (1829-27)
had no formal education and his opponents
thought he was semi-literate. They believed that
he wrote OK on documents as an abbreviation
of “all Korrect”. This tallies with the work of
lexicographers who have discovered that OK
made its first printed appearance in 1839. The
quotations taken from newspapers in Boston
and New York refer to it as a corruption of “all
Korrect”.
5.- OLD KINDERHOOK
Jackson´s succesor, Martin Van Buren, was
nicknamed “Old Kinderhook”after his home town
in upstate New York. When he ran for re-
election, his democrat supporters formed the OK
Club and 500 of them raided a meeting of the
rival Whig Party. The attack began when they
entered the room, repeating “OK” to each other,
as a signal to break up the meeting.
17. Origin of Word Google
• The word ‘Google’ has an interesting origin. First and foremost,
the name 'Google' is a play on the word 'Googol', which was
coined by Milton Sirotta, nine-year-old nephew of U.S.
mathematician Edward Kasner in 1938, to refer to the number
represented by 1 followed by one hundred zeros. Although
accepted to be coincidental, the name has also been interpreted
as being the result of the merging of the words ‘go’ and ‘ogle’
(Wikipedia, 2005). Furthermore, in British slang, to “throw a
googly�? means to ask a hard or unanswerable question
(Wikipedia, 2005).
•Today, the term ‘google’ is so widely used and recognised that it
has worked its way into modern dictionaries. The online
dictionary, http://www.dictionary.com, defines ‘google’ as a verb,
meaning ‘to search for information on the Internet’
(Dictionary.com, 2005).
