  1. Now, quite often when we talk to clients about student engagement, the first comment is Blackboard should integrate with facebook or twitter or linked in…..that’s the way to engage with students… No! that’s not to say that these tools, and not just picking on fb, twitter and linked in, they have their place and can be quite useful tools in learning, when used in the right context.
  2. This is our course retention centre. Red bar indicates students at risk or not meeting the criteria that has been set
  3. Click on the red bar
  4. Drill into a risk area and perform an action
  5. View individual performance by clicking
  6. Drill right into how the actual information on the student
