This document outlines an assignment where students will be divided into groups to research and present on a significant World War 1 battle. Each group will focus on one of seven battles listed and needs to include key dates, locations, causes, consequences, significant players, importance, and what it would have been like to participate. Students will create a visual presentation summarizing their battle's main points without any accompanying presentation. The presentation should take around five minutes for others to learn the key details of that battle. Students are provided criteria on structuring and communicating information clearly and logically.

• Your group will prepare a visual presentation on
your battle. The aim of the visual is to summarize
the key points of that battle
• Your visual should speak for itself, ie, you don’t
have to present it but the rest of the class can
learn and take notes from it
• It should take around 5 minutes to learn the key
points of your era
