This document provides an introduction to 3-dimensional design, covering key definitions, elements, principles, and interpretive techniques. It discusses how 3D design differs from and is similar to 2D design. The core elements of 3D design - line, plane, volume, mass, space, texture, light, color, and time - are defined. Principles for organizing 3D forms such as containment, proximity, and balance are also outlined. The document provides examples of works to illustrate concepts and closes by describing approaches to interpreting 3D artwork.
The presentation will give you a good understanding about the significance, meaning and the types of designing elements and principles. For more visit our website https://www.admecindia.co.in/.

Visual Composition Slideshow.
Note: I don't own the pictures; just sayin. :D
and the words that have been applied to each slid,. I just adapted everything by google-ing it. ENJOY!
Art, and especially visual arts, is the topic that requires both background knowledge and imagination. Most teachers are afraid of it, the same as most students are bored with it. However, with the concept maps and cause-and-effect sentences it may become a source of fun in the English classroom. So, to make teaching of art more effective, I suggest a couple of ideas, which will also be the key points for the workshop:
1) Basic history of art - it gives us not just facts but useful vocabulary for describing works of art.
2) Elements of design and what they mean.
3) How to describe a picture or a photograph.
Key Design Principles To Improve Your User Experience (UX)Belatrix Software
In this webinar, Belatrix user experience (UX) expert Barbara Lipinski, will outline the design principles underlying UX. This webinar is vital viewing for anyone who’s day-to-day job involves UX, and is trying to create a powerful UX for their product.
We will define the difference between UX and graphic design, as well as examine how they are related. In addition we will also explore:
Difference between art and design
Similarities between projectual process and the UX process, and the importance of the user in graphic design
Image-based versus text-based design
Typographical principles and paragraph
Concept and consistency of good design
Color theory, balance and weight
Space as a key Element in printed Hanging Textiles Designiosrjce
Space plays an outstanding role in printed hanging textile design, as it represents the formative
design surface and participates in positive formation of the relationships between the rest of design elements.
Moreover, space can be divided in a conscious way according to the regular bases or in unconscious way by
which the designer imagine space as his own world where he could establish his own lines and shapes in
symbolic way. However and overthrows reconciled intellectual, mental and aesthetic visions. Moreover, as a
vital design element, the importance of space includes its size will affect both of the designer and recipient,
space shape and colour
JMeter webinar - integration with InfluxDB and GrafanaRTTS
Watch this recorded webinar about real-time monitoring of application performance. See how to integrate Apache JMeter, the open-source leader in performance testing, with InfluxDB, the open-source time-series database, and Grafana, the open-source analytics and visualization application.
In this webinar, we will review the benefits of leveraging InfluxDB and Grafana when executing load tests and demonstrate how these tools are used to visualize performance metrics.
Length: 30 minutes
Session Overview
-------------------------------------------
During this webinar, we will cover the following topics while demonstrating the integrations of JMeter, InfluxDB and Grafana:
- What out-of-the-box solutions are available for real-time monitoring JMeter tests?
- What are the benefits of integrating InfluxDB and Grafana into the load testing stack?
- Which features are provided by Grafana?
- Demonstration of InfluxDB and Grafana using a practice web application

DevOps and Testing slides at DASA ConnectKari Kakkonen
My and Rik Marselis slides at 30.5.2024 DASA Connect conference. We discuss about what is testing, then what is agile testing and finally what is Testing in DevOps. Finally we had lovely workshop with the participants trying to find out different ways to think about quality and testing in different parts of the DevOps infinity loop.
Let's dive deeper into the world of ODC! Ricardo Alves (OutSystems) will join us to tell all about the new Data Fabric. After that, Sezen de Bruijn (OutSystems) will get into the details on how to best design a sturdy architecture within ODC.
"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.
Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Builder.ai Founder Sachin Dev Duggal's Strategic Approach to Create an Innova...Ramesh Iyer
In today's fast-changing business world, Companies that adapt and embrace new ideas often need help to keep up with the competition. However, fostering a culture of innovation takes much work. It takes vision, leadership and willingness to take risks in the right proportion. Sachin Dev Duggal, co-founder of Builder.ai, has perfected the art of this balance, creating a company culture where creativity and growth are nurtured at each stage.
Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.
