BASIC PRINCIPLES OF NATURE
CURE
• BODY HEALS ITSELF.
• MAIN CAUSE OF DISEASE IS ENERVATION.
• DEPOSIT OF METABOLIC END-PRODUCTS IN THE
BODY IS DISEASE.
• ACUTE DISEASE IS A REMEDIAL PROCESS – ITSELF A
CURE.
• FOOD IS A BUILDING MATERIAL DOES NOT INCREASE
VITAILITY.
1.BODY HEALS ITSELF
• HEALING :- It means restoration to a normal condition or make a sick
body whole and healthy. restoration or gain of heath can only be done
by NATURE, not by MAN.
• Body heals itself by adopting mechanism like immunity, homeostasis,
regeneration of tissue and excretion of harmful product.
• Naturopathy believes that our body is capable of healing itself but
only thing is that we have to give an environment.
• The body is capable of self healing, of self regeneration and of self
defence.
• In human body every cell and tissue is endowed with the instinct of
self preservation.
• “Drugs do not cure disease, disease
is always cured by via medicatrix
nature”.
• All medicines which enter the
circulation, poison the blood in the
same manner as do poisons that
produce disease. – PROF. JOS. M.
SMITH M.D.
• ‘The confidence you have in
medicine will be dissipated by
experience in treating disease.” –
PROF. HORACE GREEN. M.D.
• Every individual within himself possesses the power to cure
himself of any disease. though the healing power in question
can not be seen or weighed or measured.
• That power within us which makes heart to beat, the blood to
flow, the eyes to see, the ears to hear, the lungs to breathe, the
brain to think well,
• if given a chance, renew diseased tissue in an organ part of the
body which is functioning wrongly, cleanse the cells, purify the
blood, give new strength to a degenerate digestive system and,
• in short, makes life worth living once again to the sufferer from
disease.
•It is living body which
provides healing, not
the outside agents.
Outside agents-drug
or treatments may be
helpful to some
extent but the real
work of healing is
done by the power
inherent in the body.
2.MAIN CAUSE OF DISEASE IS
ENERVATION
• ENERVATION :-nervous system
consists of brain, spinal cord and
motor and sensory nerves. When
there is a fatigue in them it is called
ENERVATION.{tiring or fatigue of the
nervous system}.
• When there is lack of energy, the
secretions of excretion are disturbed
and this is called disease.
•CAUSES FOR ENERVATION :-
• Wrong diet.
• Lack of rest and sleep.
• Social, financial and other stresses.
• Addictions.
• Sensory stimulation.
• Sedentary life style.
• Mental and psychological causes.
• Treatments.
 WRONG DIET :-
Irregular meals, over eating, consumption of fried and refined foods and
sweets. Theses foods are full of calories but they do not build body. These
kinds of food-demineralised, devitaminised, and devitalised, are fillers not
feeders.
LACK OF REST AND SLEEP :-
Work should be followed by rest and rest by work. Rest without work rusts
the body and over work without rest also debilitates the body.
REST:- it permits the renewal of the cells, repair of tissue, replenishment of
nerve centres and elimination of accumulated toxic waste.
SLEEP:-Sleep is a form of recreation, of creating a new. During sleep energies
are renewed, cells replenished, tissues repaired and organs made ready for
renewed work. Sleep is the great representative of restorative process.
SOCIAL AND FINANCIAL CAUSES :-
In society we are forced to take unnecessary things. In gatherings and
parties we take fried and concentrated food and some alcoholic drinks
which sap our vitality. Social drugs – tea, coffee, tobacco and some
beverages are offered and denial of these is considered to be an insult
to the host.
ADDICTIONS :-
Tea, coffee, bidies and cigarette smoking, tobacco, chewing or snuffing,
consumption of alcoholic drinks etc. Stimulate the nerves and finally
depress them, weaken them and enervate them.
SENSORY STIMULATION :-
Sensory excesses Sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.
sedentary lifestyle :-
A sedentary lifestyle is a type
of lifestyle with no or
irregular physical activity.
Sedentary activities
include sitting, reading,
watching television, playing video
games, and computer use for much
of the day with little or no vigorous
physical exercise.
A sedentary lifestyle can contribute
to many preventable causes of
death
3.DEPOSIT OF METABOLIC END
PRODUCTS, IN THE SYSTEM, IS DISEASE
Disease do not attack people. Disease grow slowly within
the body through continued abuses and accumulating
toxemia.
So disease cannot be contracted for the same reason. Every
disease, acute or chronic develops from the accumulation of
toxins and poisons and wastes in the body.
so called disease manifests as a number of symptoms (fever,
pain, aches, mucus, flow, diarrhea etc.) with are normal
restorative actions of the body until they degenerate into
chronic structural defects.
DETOXIFICATION PATHWAY
Five types of waste matter that need to be
eliminated from the body :-
 Catabolic waste matter.
Waste matter of undigested and unassimilated
food.
Waste matter due to infective live foreign bodies
like germs and parasites.
Waste matter due to foreign substances which are
dead.
Medicinal waste matter.
4.ACUTE DISEASE IS A REMEDIAL PROCESS. IT
IS ITSELF A CURE :-
• Acute disease is the body’s natural
and normal way of rapidly
eliminating accumulated toxins.
• Acute disease should be permitted
free expression without treatment or
palliation or suppression.
• Better fast, this ensures rapid
restoration of health. The instinct to
sleep and fast during acute illness
should be honored.
It is a natural function of the body
expressed as fever:-
•mucus flow,
•coughing,
•diarrhea,
•inflammation,
•headache,
•lose of appetite
• weakness,
• heaviness,
•desire to sleep,
• sore throat,
•muscular aches etc.
5.FOOD IS A BUILDING MATERAIL, BUT DOES
NOT INCREASE VITALITY
• Food needed for physiological functioning.
• Food, after all, is a powerless substance to build flesh, blood, bones and
nerves. Only a living breathing organism can convert it into a living
tissue.
• Food is needed for nourishment, protection and maintenance of the
body.
• Food does not increase the vital power but it is vital power that digests
the food and derives its benefits. By increasing digestion we can make
the use of foods but by increasing foods we can not increase vitality.
Food is a powerless substance to
build flesh, blood, bones and
nerves.
Only a living being organism can
covert food into a living tissue.
By increasing the amount of food
we eat, vitality doesn't increase.
It is the vital power that digests,
absorbs, assimilates, excrete.
In sickness when food is not
digested it is a hurden and tax on
vitality.
Through life force is primary,
life itself depends on food.
More the sick eat, more
weak he becomes.
When food is not digested
properly it is fermented and
decomposed and it results in
weakness and disease not in
strength.
Eat when hungry and fast
when sick.
