Father Sebastin Kneipp was one of the greatest influencer in

the most known personality in the world of his success in

believed that malady was because of toxins within the

13. BENEDICT LUST-
Dr. Benedict Lust was firstly considered as the Father of American
Naturopathy. He was born in Baden, Germany. He, like several of
the founders of naturopathy, had been introduced to natural
kinds of healing because personal health concern. Dr. Lust had
originally immigrated to the United States in 1892 to hunt his
fortune , nevertheless once he contracted a severe case of
tuberculosis, that was not obtaining any higher with typical
treatment, he came to his fatherland to endure the water cure
treatment with father Kneipp. Once, Dr. Lust was cured, he was

Hippocrates started the concept of naturopathy

Gandhi ji was influenced by the book “Return to
Nature” written by Adolf just and become a firm
believer of Naturopathy. He thoroughly studied
his system and treatment and came to the
conclusion that, for the people of India Nature
Cure was the best way to maintain their health.
He wrote many articles on nature cure in his
weekly journals “Navjivan” and “Harijan”.

17. SANT VINOBA BHAVE-
He was dedicated to Naturopathy and its
propagation. He has explained the basic
principles of natural living. He addressed several
national conferences of All India Naturopathy
Association and gave valuable advice to
naturopaths. He wrote a book “Village Health
Planning”
