1. Title
Baseline
Make the title and baseline imaginative. Use pictures. Treat this page as a film poster.

2. Logline
Use this page to write about your film in one line. Or as few words as possible. Some
examples below:
THE GODFATHER : The aging patriarch of an organized crime dynasty transfers control of his
clandestine empire to his reluctant son.
PULP FICTION: The lives of two mob hit men, a boxer, a gangster's wife, and a pair of diner
bandits intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption.
FOREST GUMP : Forrest Gump, while not intelligent, has accidentally been present at many
historic moments, but his true love, Jenny Curran, eludes him.

3. Synopsis
A more detailed story goes here. You can also call it plot summary.

4. Character Profiles
Work out your characters. Make them really interesting. This also helps you carry through
your subsequent episodes.

5. Story Arc
How does the story proceed over subsequent seasons. This can be important for long form
series. Netflix, Amazon Prime etc would love to know how the series progresses in case its a
hit. They will want more of the same thing.

6. Treatment
Fill a few pages with this. How do you see the show. Look and feel. Locations. Costumes.
Anything else that makes the reader better informed about your creative treatment intentions
for this show. Include photos. Videos. Music if you want. To show pace, rhythm, mood,
anything else…

7. Cast
Include a list of main cast here. Either you have already gotten a famous actor on board
(great) or your cast wishlist. Cast if often crucial in deciding over a yes or no.

8. Crew
Same as cast earlier, except its your key crew. Your Cinematographer. Music Composer,
Editor, Sound Designer, Art Director… Include achievements of your key crew. It helps.

9. Thank You.
This is it. Juts make your pitch deck look very impressive. Hire a graphic designer if you
have to.
