Bartending is a process of
preparing, mixing
concocting and serving
drinks especially alcoholic
beverages to customers.
Bartender also known as
Barkeeper
Barman
Barmaid
Barperson
Bar attendant
• Is a person who serves
usually alcoholic behind
the bar in a licensed
establishment
Shaking
Every cocktail that carries a
lot of different ingredients
requires to be shaken in
order to get these
ingredients mixed up
properly.
Straining
Right after shaking the
cocktail, it is straining it that
becomes important
It takes a time and effort to
master this skill.
Stirring
Is the right way and help
also prevents extreme
dilution of the drink.
Layering
This is important for
cocktails that require
multiple liqueurs as their
ingredients
Flaming
Some liquor have their flavor
enhanced by setting a flame
on the surface of the drink
Flairing
Some bartenders like to
entertain the customer by
flipping the bottles and
tossing them up in the air.
