These figures appear higher than the 6% reported by the Climate Council on 25 May 2015, as the NSW Government figures include output from the Snowy Hydro Scheme, a number of biofuel and small-scale installations, and behind-the-meter solar generation. - The CEC’s report uses large-scale generation and solar PV figures to find that NSW renewable energy generation is 7.7% of the total generation mix. However, the CEC figures split output from the Snowy Hydro Scheme between NSW and Victoria due to how the AEMO records the output from that plant, and also do not include some small hydro and biomass installations.
