4. Tips on finding a relationship between
two members of a family:
Step 1: The first and foremost step is to choose the two persons
among whom the relationship is to be established.
Step 2: Draw the relationship chart based on the given clues in the
questions.
Step 3: Establish the relationship. (Be careful, how is A related to B
is not same as how is B related to A)
Make sure that you represent the gender of a female with a "○" sign
and that of a male with a "□" .
Represent all the people of same generation at same level in the
relationship chart.

1. Pointing to a photograph of a boy Suresh
said, "He is the son of the only son of my
mother." How is Suresh related to that boy?

The boy in the photograph is the only son of

So, A is father of D. But D is son of B.
So, B is the mother of D and wife of A. Also, E is the brother of A.

Explanation:

D is father of A and grandfather of F. So, A is father of F.
Thus, D and A are the two fathers.
C is the sister of F. So, C is the daughter of A.
Since there is only one mother, it is evident that E is the wife of A and
hence the mother of C and F.
So, B is brother of A There are three brothers. So, F is the brother of C.
Clearly, A is E's Husband.
