Socio economic aspect of langar (community kitchen)Gurminder Singh
The Sikh Gurus led lives which served as the beacon of light to their followers, to become active agents in promoting human welfare. They thus facilitated full utilization of resources, human and material and encouraged all-round development. Sangat aroused the constructive genius in man by helping him to realize his fullest potential and progress in different walks of life. Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) stands for the total orientation of life of the individual and society to a creative and meaningful existence. The Langar system stands for brotherhood, equity, equality, and humility.
This presentation I gave at CAREER LAUNCHER Gwalior in 2006 & later at Sita Manor hotel, among 140 students . I have to share a very interesting experience with this presentation. In Career Launcher rule was presentation was to be given with a partner, not alone. I didnt get a partner till the end . I chose one partner but he dumped me at the last movement. In the meantime , presentation were also started . I was unable to decide the topic . I would like to mention here that my association with Gurudev (Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya) or Gayatri pariwar was just 7 years old at that time. While I was thinking about some topics, I got an inspiration ( i dont know from where, be it gurudev) that MISSION YUG NIRMAN could be made a topic. I was very reluctant initially . At Career launcher, where mostly fashionable boys & girls comes & infront of them giving presentation on such a topic is a sureshot way to make a fool of myself ! But I stood firm. Another rule there was you cannot exceed the timelimit of 15 mints. But I already decided if I give presentation on such a man I will not care about the time limit. A big hurdle came when virus in my computer destroyed the whole presentation. I made it for the second time. Another problem occured when I was unable to get pictures(images) of Gurudevs books . But as it is said when god by your side everything gets right. The day came (11nth Oct ) & my presentation took 45 mints without any partner . I was nervous as most of the people were giving presentation on coorporate topics like Ratan tata, ambani or google....among these topics I thought mine spiritual one will not stand & people will laugh at me thinking what a fool I am. But at last result was declared & no Ratan tata , no ambani or Indra nooyi could match the might of my Gurudev & MISSION YUG NIRMAN topped the chart.

IJHSSI publishes research articles and reviews within the whole field Humanities and Social Science, new teaching methods, assessment, validation and the impact of new technologies and it will continue to provide information on the latest trends and developments in this ever-expanding subject. Real progress and welfare of a country or a civilization depend upon both Gyana (knowledge) and Vigyana (science). The same is also true for happy upliftment of a person or a society. Lack or negligence on either front results in degradation and decline. Gyana means that which generates and expands enlightenment, discerning wisdom, farsightedness, benevolence, generosity, justice, integrity, alertness and sense of responsibility. Vigyana is that which initiates and promotes materialistic progress, capabilities, talents, power, resources, prosperity and worldly success. Mutual coherence and simultaneous growth and expansion of both Gyana and Vigyana is what accounts for truly fulfilling and durable progress and ascent of life. Development of both had flourished in India in the Vedic Age. This is why Vedic era is glorified as Golden Age in the history of mankind.
This paper develops proposition which deals with the global contribution of ancient Indian tradition. The present research is being done through literature reviews of various ancient and contemporary texts to prove the present clause. It is an effort to let the people know the glory of great hoary Indian Culture, Tradition, Civilization and the underlying science within.

In March 2024, 60,000 people gathered at Kanha Shanti Vanam for an interfaith celebration organized by the MInistry of Culture, Government of India, and Heartfulness Institute. People came from 300 organizations around the globe, along with the Hon'ble President and Hon'ble Vice President of India.
There were plenary talks and panel discussions, exhibitions and stalls, activities and practical experiences, musical performances, and group meditations. We shared meals, accommodation, and all the other facilities at Kanha Shanti Vanam, and came away with a deeper understanding of ourselves and each other. This Global Spirituality Mahotsav was an opportunity to develop harmony, peace, and heart coherence among people from all different backgrounds and walks of life. And the HeartMath research conducted during the event showed it worked: Our coherence was significant!
This month's edition does a deep dive into the Mahotsav with Daaji on love, Rollin McCraty on heart coherence, Joseph Howell on connecting with the inner child, Sofia Stril-Rever on peace, Gour Gopal Das on managing problems, NilakshiRajkhowa on the world as one family, Sravan Banda on cultivating peace through the environment, Aaryan Arora on becoming his own influence, SiddharthKak on creativity, Sara Bubber on time, and very specially, the Rt. Hon. Patricia Scotland, KC, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth bestows a special honor upon Daaji.

An open, unencrypted wireless network can 'sniff' or capture and record the traffic, gain unauthorized access to internal network resources as well as to the internet, and then use the information and resources to perform disruptive or illegal acts. Many laptop computers have wireless cards pre-installed. The ability to enter a network while mobile has great benefits. However, wireless networking is prone to some security. Wireless networks relatively easy to break into, and even use wireless technology to hack into wired networks. The risks to users of wireless technology have increased as the service has become more popular. As a result, it is very important that enterprises define effective wireless security policies that guard against unauthorized access to important resources.

Pervasive computing also known as Ubiquitous computing (ubicomp) is a concept in software engineering and computer science where computing is made to appear everywhere and anywhere. Eg:laptop computers, tablets and terminals in everyday objects such as a fridge or a pair of glasses.
•It is also termed as ambient intelligence, Ubiquitous computing ,everyware, physical computing, the Internet of Things, haptic computing, and 'things that think’.
SNMP is a tool (protocol) that allows for remote and local management of items on the network including servers, workstations, routers, switches and other managed devices.
•It is an application level protocol and is designed for application layer so that it can monitor devices made by different manufacturers and installed on different physical networks.
•In other words SNMP frees management tasks from both the physical characteristics of managed devices and the underlying network technology.
•It is based on the concept of manager and agent.
–Agent - process running on each managed node collecting information about the device it is running on. It is a router or a host that runs SNMP server program
–Manager - process running on a management workstation that requests information about devices on the network. It is a host that runs the SNMP client program.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

6. Why Gayatri
Indian Culture is founded on the principles of Gayatri (the protector of vital life
force, praana, and the Goddess of wisdom and pure intelligence)
Gayatri inspires the brain to remain saturated with divine, virtuous (satoguni)
qualities, which in turn inspire a person onto the path of true well-being.
Cultivating noble thoughts and practicing righteous deeds safeguard and increase
the person’s strength.
“Om bhoor bhuvah swah tat savitur varenyam bhargo
devasya dheemahi dhiyo yo nah prachodayat “
In short it is a prayer to the Almighty Supreme God, the Creator
of entire cosmos, the essence of our life existence, who removes
all our sins, pains and sufferings and grants happiness;
beseeching His divine grace to inculcate within us His Divinity
and Brilliance, which may purify us and guide our wisdom on the
righteous path.
7. Why Yagya
The word Yagna is derived from the Sanskrit verb yaj, which has a three-fold meaning: worship of
deities (deva-pujana), unity (sangatikarana) and charity (daana)
Yagna teaches a way of living in the society in harmony and a lifestyle which promotes and protects
higher human values in the society, which is indeed the basis of an ideal human culture.
Scientific Aspects of Yagna
treatment of various diseases
removal of atmospheric pollution
sublime showers of vital energy and spiritual strength from the upper cosmic planes
Experimental studies have shown that
Yagna or agnihotra creates a pure,
hygienic, nutritional and healing
atmosphere
Researchers from the field of microbiology
have observed that the medicinal fumes
emanating from the process of agnihotra
are bacteriostatic in nature, i.e. they
eradicate bacteria and micro-organisms
Burning sugar and its smoke has a
significant effect in purifying the
atmosphere. It kills the germs of T.B.,
measles, smallpox and cow-pox” –
remarks Prof. Tilward.
A Russian Scientist named Dr. Shirowich
mentions – “if cow’s ghee is put into the
fire, its smoke will lessen the effect of
atomic radiation to a great extent”.
