soil's suitability? B.3 Draw and label a cross section through the following structures: anticline,
syncline, normal fault and reverse fault. How would you identify on a geologic map whether a
sequence of sedimentary beds is horizontal or dipping? How would you identify anticlines and
synclines? How would you identify different types of faults? B.4 With reference to both either
minerals or metal ores, explain the main ways in which these minerals form. Describe how we use
these minerals as resources. What are some of the problems associated with how we exploit
them?
