Marta Batmasian is an active community leader in Boca Raton, Florida who serves on the boards of several local organizations. She also founded Ayo!, an initiative of the Fund for Armenian Relief that funds projects for underserved Armenian communities. Currently, Ayo! is seeking $4,030 to make improvements to three soup kitchens run by the Fund for Armenian Relief in Armenia, which provide meals to unemployed, disabled, or unsupported elderly individuals. The improvements include supplies like dishes and replacement of an oven.

the Tri-County Humane Society, and the Junior
League of Boca Raton. Outside of her activities
in Florida, Marta Batmasian serves on the
board of the Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR)
and is the founder of Ayo!, a FAR initiative that
funds special projects for underserved
Armenian populations.

3. Currently, Ayo! is seeking funds to cover much-needed
improvements to three soup kitchens run by FAR in the
Armenian cities of Berd, Gyumri, and Yerevan. The
kitchens are part of FAR’s Elderly Nutrition Assistance
program, which provides nutritious meals to elderly men
and women who are unemployed, disabled, or lacking
other support.
All of FAR’s soup kitchens currently need supplies such as
plates, cups, utensils, and tablecloths. In addition, the
Berd location requires a replacement oven to continue
providing meals to its beneficiaries. The total projected
