7. India’s improving economy affecting the aviation industry
 Improved economy has affected the aviation industry in the following ways:
- Consumers have capacity to afford air travel.
- Consumers have money to spend on tourism, religious tourism and business
trips etc.
- Competition amongst the Air lines has resulted in sharp decline in air fares.
- The importance of time spent on traveling has been understood by the
consumers. when it comes to passenger traffic people have purchasing power
in an improving economy and can afford to fly.
on negative side in an improving economy :basic infrasturure like road and rail
transport are strengthened and cargo movement is through rail and road and it
effects aviation industry.
on the whole improving economy do not effect aviation industry. if u have

8.  The aviation industry has benefited due to the
following reasons:
 1. People have more money in hand thus more people
travel by air.
 2. More goods are also transported by air.

3. Development in economy means more
construction of runways, airports, etc. thus more
planes can fly.

4. Due to the improving industries, more and more
foreign companies have invested. The owners of
these companies, the employees, etc also travel by
air.

5. The MNCs have also started a few new airlines.

6. Due to cut throat competition, the fares have really
gone down.

7. Better quality of fuel is available for the planes as
now India can afford more expensive oil.

9. Affects
 Adverse Affects:

1. The demand for air staff and pilots has suddenly
gone up, as a result, the airlines are compromising
with the staff.

2. The infrastructure is not as developed as the
aviation industry. There is shortage of good airports,
runways, etc. This leads to inconvenience.

3. The introduction of untrained or poorly educated
staff has caused a problem. The services have gone
down in a few airlines.

 Indigo Airlines: Indigo Airlines is a private domestic low-cost airline
based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. It operates domestic services
linking 17 destinations. Its main base is Delhi's Indira Gandhi
International Airport. It was awarded the title of ‘Best Domestic Low
Cost Carrier’ in India for 2008.

11. spice jet
 Spice Jet is a low-cost airline based in New Delhi, India. It
began service in May 2005 and by 2008, it was India's
second-largest low-cost airline in terms of market share.
 Spice Jet was voted as the best low-cost airline in South
Asia and Central Asia region by Skytrax in 2007.Rising
fuel costs and increasing competition resulted in Spice Jet
posting a loss in the first quarter of 2008-09. In August
2008, Spice Jet announced plans to raise US$100 million
through foreign investment.

carrier in India and continues to grow along with the

 A cargo aircraft plane (also known as freight
aircraft or freighters) is a fixed-wing aircraft
designed or converted for the carriage of
goods, rather than passengers. They are
devoid of passenger amenities, and generally
feature one or more large doors for the
loading and unloading of cargo. Freighters
may be operated by civil passenger or cargo
airlines, by private individuals or by the armed
forces of individual countries. However most
air freight is carried in special ULD containers
in the cargo holds of passenger aircraft.

 A cockpit or flight deck is the area, usually near the
front of an aircraft, from which a pilot controls the
aircraft. Most modern cockpits are enclosed, except on
some small aircraft, and cockpits on large airliners are
also physically separated from the cabin. Cockpit as a
term for the pilot's compartment in an aircraft first
appeared in 1914. From about 1935 cockpit also came to
be used informally to refer to the driver's seat of a car,
especially a high performance one, and this is official
terminology in Formula One. The term is most likely
related to the sailing term for the coxswain's station in a
Royal Navy ship, and later the location of the ship's
rudder controls.

29. Evacuation features on board
 Evacuation on land after an abnormal landing, aborted
take-off, or any such occurrence that resulted in the
passengers and the crew on board escaping from the
aircraft using the emergency exits, that is door,
‘hatches’ or over wing exits and cockpit windows is a
fairly rare occurrence. sometimes they are also called
crash landing. All aircraft are filled up with escape slide
or slides/rafts, that helps the passengers and crew to
slide out the air-craft quickly to safety. It is mandatory
for all commercial airlines to have a enough emergency
exits. So that in event of evacuation a full of compliment
of passengers and crew exit from the aircraft in 90 secs
or less provided all exits areas able.
