This document introduces augmented reality and provides examples of augmented reality apps that can be used in education. It explains that augmented reality overlays digital information on real-world objects when viewed through a device camera. Examples of marker-based and markerless augmented reality apps are provided, including apps using QR codes, flashcards, and location-based apps. Directions are given for using selected augmented reality apps and creating custom augmented reality content. Contact information is provided for the authors to learn more about augmented reality integration.
