– Episode2: The room in the tower by E F Benson.
– This podcast is a ghost story. His voice is clear and he makes everything very
understandable.
– He explains everything well and creates pictures in your head of what the
surroundings should look like by describing how it looks.
– The tower where he is set to sleep Is apparently haunted by a vampire.
– He describes the smells and the atmosphere.
– The narrator has a middle aged deep voice creating an eery setting.
– Music is used to create an eerie setting.

• The archers is a drama podcast that is on weekly on BBC radio four.
• The Archers have 19,500 episodes meaning it’s the longest running drama.
• It was first filmed in 1950.
• The actors use different tones to express their emotions as there isn’t any videos or acing to act out the story so they have
to o it all with noise and their voices.
• In the background you can hear the sounds from the surroundings making the recordings more lively.
• When I listen to the archers I feel like I know the characters because of the way they communicate with each other.
• In the archers they create background noises. For example if they are in a pub you can hear glasses clinking together, if
they are on a farm you can hear tractors and animals in the distance.
• They use different sounds in the background to show you what is going on at the time.
