The document discusses getting feedback on a music video project from students, teachers, and others through questionnaires and YouTube views. Feedback indicated that the location and lip syncing were positives, but that the video would benefit from including a male character and having multiple storylines to better match the song. If making the video again, the creator would address these weaknesses and also improve the editing to create a more effective final product.

2. We asked a few people to give us feedback on
our video. Getting feedback is really important
as it informs you on all the positives and
negatives of your product. We made
questionnaires for people to fill in and we also
put our video on YouTube to get some
feedback.
3. We played our video to some students and
teachers. After they had watched it we asked
them to tell us their opinion on our video. They
were told them they should feel comfortable in
adding all the negatives as well as the
positives. One of the positives were that they
liked the location of the video which was our
sixth form. However we did get some negative
feedback such as, there should have been a
male character in the video which would have
made it more effective.
4. We also used questionnaires to get some
feedback. We first gathered some questions
based on the video and then we asked friends,
teachers, students and families to fill the
questionnaire in. We got both positive and
negative feedback which included things like
the camera work was good, however we could
have added more effects to make the video
better.
5. We figured that it would be a good idea to put
the video on YouTube as most people use this
music website. It is really popular with the
majority of the audience and we thought this
would be a good way to get some feedback.
6. The editing – the shots were not too long or too
shot and we used a variety of shots.
Lip syncing – the lip syncing was really good
throughout the video and was one of the main
strengths of the video.
The colour scheme – we used black and white
for our music video as it made the video more
effective and went really well with the genre
and mood of the song.
7. Characters – the main weakness of the video
was that it lacked another character. It needed
a male character so that the video would go
better with the song and the video.
The mise en scene – another weakness was that
we could have used a better location and
props. The audience thought that we should
have more than one storyline to go better with
the song chosen.
8. If I was to make this music video again I would
definitely use the feedback we got to help me
make the video better. I would make sure that
there was a male character and more than one
storyline as I think these were the two main
weaknesses. Also the editing of the video could
have been a lot better and made the video more
effective. I would leave the video in black and
white as this went very well with the genre of
the music and also went well with the video
itself.
