2. My
Questionnaire
I ask one of my teachers if he
could hand this questionnaire
out in one of his class’s and
how them my video and them
get them to fill the
questionnaire out. The age
group that he showed my
short film to was aged 17-18
years old. In the class had 22
people in them and I have
taken the results and put the
information into a chart to
make it easier to understand.
3. Out of the 22 responses I
got back I randomly picked
this one as my example. As
you can see it is a filled in
response to the questions
that I asked

12. Overall, the feedback I received from the random questionnaire of 17-18 year olds, was very positive. The
results from question 1 were very positive with almost everyone getting all of the stereotypes correct. But
the ones who got it wrong, either stated the colour of the birds, or got caught out with the last group of
friends as they were meant to be misfit birds but a few people struggled with that. Question 2 also
received very positive feed back with 20 out of 22 saying the backgrounds did go well with that
characters. The majority of people found the nerd and the girls background to be the most effective. The 2
that got it wrong either did not give proper answers or did not understand the question. Question 3 had got
very positive feedback with 20 out of 22 understanding the narrative and the moral. When I wrote the
question for question 4 I made it far to vague. As a result of this I get some age groups such as ‘teenager’
and I got some saying ‘5-14’ meaning that it was very hard to accurately chart. But from the answers I
thought were correct I put them in a chart. Just about everyone got it correct with younger aged
people, but some people said teenagers and I didn’t count that as I was looking for more 5 year olds.
Question 5 was very helpful to me as this is the one thing I was most unsure about. But from my audience
feedback I now know that I should go with what I thought was right as my audience feedback also agree
with that. The majority went with keeping the talking noises as they are. The comments I received about
this were things like, ‘you can tell enough just from the eyes’ which was the exact response I was going
for. Question 6 also had a clear decision with all but one person saying the music in the background was
appropriate. They really like how the music in the background reflected the mood of Bernard which was
what I was going for. The only person that didn’t like it said they didn’t like the transitions between the
different music. Question 7 once again was a little to vague as I asked ‘what improvements would you
make’ meaning they could say anything, so charting it up was pretty tricky. But I found that there were 8
main improvements that people would make so I charted that up. The two most put down points were no
improvements and music transitions. Finally question 8 was what would you rate it out of 10 and I worked
out the average to be 8. This is a very positive response to my short film.
What I Have Discovered From
My Feedback!
13. In response to my audience feedback the only real
negative feedback I got were about my music
transitions. In response to this feedback I have been
looking into how I could change/ improve these
transitions and I have noticed one or two things that
have been pointed out to me that could be changed.
There were a couple of suggestions about making
the narrative clearer but due to the time restrictions
this will no longer be possible to do.
