 Participated in small projects at the direct instruction and supervision of the founder/owner of a startup IT consulting business
 Worked closely with the business owner to understand problems with his billing and administration functions, and used my creative input to
develop a leaner, more sustainable process for managing his day-to-day administration. Drafted extensive operating procedure documents
to assist with the outsourcing of his billing function to a local bookkeeping operation
 Led an initiative to create a helpdesk system to better manage the business's technical support function. After thoroughly understanding the
nature of the company's client support requests, helped create a system of managing support phone calls, emails, and text messages from
clients, as well as automated emails from computer systems, in a more organized and systematic way using existing software and core
engineering principles
 Assistant-managed a software project through the entire software lifecycle, including: interviewing the business client and formally drafting
business requirement documentation, collaborating with IT leadership to create specification and design documentation, collaborating with
software developers to oversee application development and ensure adherence to business requirements, learning to create test scenarios
and scripts, and coordinating the software test and debug process
