Area general manager, Gloria Hotels and Resorts,
Freddy Farid exclusively described the brand’s latest
developments: “Gloria Hotels and Resorts’ expansion
continues with the opening of Downtown Gloria Hotel in
Abu Dhabi in September 2014.
“The hotel is situated in the heart of Abu Dhabi
downtown, within walking distance of the Corniche and
will be in line with the Gloria Hotels and Resorts’ concept
– luxury family hotels providing excellent services in a
friendly atmosphere.”
Communicating the brand’s ATM ambitions, Farid
remarked: “We are open to meet and establish relations
with new partners while promoting our property
expansion.” He further revealed that the hotel company
will be exhibiting at stand HC5470, opposite the
Buyers Club.
Furthermore, Farid told TTG that the brand’s future
plans include expansion in the Middle East and North
Africa, with positive growth from the GCC and African
markets forecasted for the remainder of the year.
BOLSTERED TOURISM PARTNERSHIPS
Chic Outlet Shopping recently
entered into a partnership with global
accommodation wholesaler, Hotelbeds,
which is to sell Chic Outlet Shopping
packages and tickets for the Shopping
Express luxury coach service through its
Activities brand.
This is centred on selling transfers,
activities and experiences to the travel
industry as a whole.
Tourism sales director, Value Retail, Ian
Stazicker told TTG: “Development of these
tourism partnerships makes us unique and
helps us cement our position as leaders in
promoting shopping tourism globally.”
Meanwhile, Chic Outlet Shopping is
now included as part of the Dnata and
Emirates Holidays package offer, and has,
as well, signed a partnership with
Singapore Airlines.
