ATENEA has a
performance!
The months of March, April, May, and June were full of
events related to national workshops on Atenea project
methodology, rehearsals, meetings between partners, as well
as with stakeholders, and most importantly national
premieres, starring with partner̕s beneficiary groups.
Autobiographical Theater Festival in Valencia
As our project is coming to an end, the consortium with the
outstanding contribution of Domingo Ferrandis will present all
the local performances in the Autobiographical Theater
Festival in Valencia on 25 & 26 of June.
All the partners will give their local performance in this
festival. 6 countries, 6 stories, 6 pieces, 6 stigmas will be there
to address the vulnerability and to facilitate the resilence to the
audience and to themselves. Consequently, the actors will be
available to talk with audience about their experience through
and other issues that society neglects.
The program will include not only the theatre performances of
each group, but also many extra activities such as film
screenings, workshops, and many others. None of this would
be possible without the collaboration with several associations
Ambit worked with. The main partner of the event will be
Asociación de Vecinas y Vecinos de Natzaret.
Local performances
During this period, the partners were able to produce not only
a local performance but also workshops on methodology in
their local community. The aim of the workshops is to present
the project, talk about the benefits of the Atenea methodology,
the success achieved by partners with their vulnerable groups
and announce the event, interest the public and stakeholders on
issues of social exclusion, their stories, transformation process,
healing, their needs, combating stigma, as well as, the
transformative effect that the project itself had on our users.

The latest Transnational Project Meeting
The latest LTTA, originally scheduled for Berlin, will be held in
Valencia from 24 to 28 June.
This activity will include the Autobiographical Theater Festival
but also extra activities in which the beneficiaries will conclude
what has been a 2-year journey of self-discovery. The LTTA,
therefore, will serve as a final meeting in which Domingo Ferrandis
will be able to lead the final phase of the Autobiographical Theater
methodology. The last project meeting will be included in the
LTTA and will be held on 27 and 28 June. Here the consortium
representatives will meet to organize the final stages of the project
and to discuss ways to make the activities sustainable after the end
of European funding (agreements with partner organizations,
exploitation of results, etc.).
For the beneficiaries and coordinators of the project, the final
meeting in Valencia will be the icing on the cake, a last chance to
meet and end this journey in the same city where it started.
