1. Aesthetica day trip
In the day trip we went to a few previews and short film showings I think the main part I enjoyed was
the interview/conversation chat with e directory of a new series that had been made during covid
it was quite interesting listening to what they had to say about what it was like filming during
restrictions and getting close to the cast and helping them get into character without being bale to
close to them especially as a lot of her cast were kids I can imagine it was hard to manage the hole
project but it was good fun listening to them chat.
One of the things I wasn’t keen on was the student films where they showed us peoples final projects
and I didn’t really find any of them that good a lot of them had weird plots and were just a bit boring
much prefer to listen to people who are working in the industry and have made really good pieces of
work, plus a lot of the work they were showing us was animated or way too dramatic or was trying
too hard to be funny which wasn’t really up my street as those tings are hard to do well.
I think overall the trip was good and I learnt a lot from the interview section and would definitely be
interested in going to see more tings like that in the future when I get the chance.
