3. Make up Who is getting it? How/ where are they
getting them?
Who is using it? Why?
Fake blood Sachin Using washing up liquid and red
food colouring to make it at
home
Sachin (at the end), 4th actor
(hand scene) and Jack (ghost
child- blood on shirt)
When we see the hand being
pulled away, it will be unrealistic
and unsuitable if we did not put
blood on it which would meet
the conventions and scare the
audience more.
Black eye make up Jack Home Jack (ghost child) We have to make Jack look
ghostly and abnormal therefore
using this will help us convince
the audience that it is
supernatural.
Dead Skin Jack Home Jack To make it look abnormal and
disturbing we should use dead
skin make up which would scare
the audience therefore attracting
more interest in the film.
Paint Sachin and Jack Home(s) Jack This will be used to add more
realism to the film, as if we had
none, it would not look
convincing and fake, causing the
audience to lose attraction.
