- Make sure you understand standard configuration of assessments:*
- Please note that changing the point value of a question or multiple questions in an assessment DOES NOT change the point value of the assessment in the Gradebook.
- Key Point: Gradebook Items are NOT automatically created or updated from lesson items – including Assessments, Discussion Forums, and Drop Boxes
- Goals of Discussion Forums (WHY they’re graded): Provide students with a sense of a community of learning Help students connect what they are studying with their experience Give instructors a way to make informal assessments of students’ progress toward course objectives
- Note that the column headings are sortable. Emphasize Copy rubric scores to grades button.“What do the column headings mean?”• User Name: The users name.
