Job Description
•Carry out routine chemical testing of raw, in process, process and finished samples in shift (results
compilation & reporting).
•Preparations of reagents (Chemicals) and their standardization.
•Calibration of lab instruments.
•QA surveys/Audits of entire Production Facility (ware House, Feed House, Expeller House, starch
Filing area, Liquid Glucose Refinery, Liquid Glucose Filling area)
•Analysis of Finished Dry starch (pH, Scot, So2, Moisture, Odor, NSR)
•Analysis of Finished Liquid Glucose (pH, So2,Baume, DE% , Ash, Brix,Colour, )
•Moisture testing of wet mill in process samples
•Analysis of Wet Mill liquid in process Samples
•Protein Analysis of Feed samples by Kjeldhal method
•Analysis of crude Maize oil (Foots, FFA, Moisture, Color)
•Analysis of waste water samples of plant site focusing on core environmental parameters like COD.
