DOW is a speciality chemical manufacturer of biocides, used throughout industry in paints,
cosmetics, petrochemicals, wood and water treatment. Working as a member of a multi
2. disciplinary shift team, my role ensures the quality and integrity of all site products are
maintained.
Liase with DCS control operators to highlight potential quality issues and
minimise rework and waste.
Communicate with shift supervision to report any issues.
Technical and analytical support for the biocides process team.
Working to corporate procedures, for analysis using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis
spectroscopy and wet analysis.
Testing raw, intermediate and finished products as well as environmental
