How to take action in case of low performance in PT. Jamyang, Soil & Plant Analytical Laboratory, Bhutan

Soil & Plant Analytical Laboratory (Bhutan) Jamyang
Results of 2018 and 2019 Proficiency Testings Our results were all within the frame of the 2018 SEALNET PT and 2019 GLOSOLAN PT. Thus the PT conducted by GLOSOLAN, FAO; has provided greater confidence in our analytical performance.
Actions taken As our results were all acceptable there is nothing much to worry. However, where we have noticed some higher values for Standard deviations we have tried to improve them through frequent monitoring of our systems, technicians included. This is to generate even better results in the next PT.

4th SEALNET meeting, item 6 - Case study: Bhutan

  • 1. Soil & Plant Analytical Laboratory (Bhutan) Jamyang
  • 2. Results of 2018 and 2019 Proficiency Testings Our results were all within the frame of the 2018 SEALNET PT and 2019 GLOSOLAN PT. Thus the PT conducted by GLOSOLAN, FAO; has provided greater confidence in our analytical performance.
  • 3. Actions taken As our results were all acceptable there is nothing much to worry. However, where we have noticed some higher values for Standard deviations we have tried to improve them through frequent monitoring of our systems, technicians included. This is to generate even better results in the next PT.
