Armored Vehicle Solutions (AVS) works in collaboration

Our suppliers have nearly 200 years of combined
armoring experience. Through focusing on engineering,
innovation, protection, lightweight armor applications, and
premium finishing, these armoring experts have produced
and shipped thousands of vehicles for distinguished
individuals throughout the world.

• Armored Vehicle Solutions (AVS) can armor nearly any vehicle.
• The vehicle platform or chassis can be supplied by the
customer or provided by AVS.

Critical Components

First, the bullet resistant materials used to protect you
and your vehicle from an attack.

These materials protect you and save time, allowing
you to avoid injury, respond and escape from an
attack.

Second, the vehicle platform or chassis that will
maximize your ability to flee the scene of an attack site
and/or attackers.

Whether new or pre-owned, your vehicle must provide
a dependable, mechanical and structural platform that
offers peace-of-mind, both for daily transportation and
for maximizing your chance of escape when fleeing an
attack scene.

Armoring Process of Your Vehicle Step 1

Once your vehicle and deposit have been received, a work order
is put into effect describing the materials and levels of
protection that you have requested. It is at this point that the
armoring process can begin.

Our manufacturer then begins the process of armoring your
vehicle by covering the entire surface of the car with specialized
3M™protective tape.

They then completely dismantle the interior of the vehicle,
exposing only its frame. All the interior parts of the vehicle are
removed and assigned a number corresponding to the vehicle
so that nothing will be misplaced.

The process is continued by measuring the floor, ceiling,
doors, and firewall, which enables them to cut and construct
the pieces of ballistic material necessary to cover each of these
areas.

These materials stop any kind of metal fragments from
penetrating the passenger compartment.


It is at this time that the fuel tank is removed to protect it with
ballistic nylon and cover it with a water-resistant coating.

They then assess the suspension and braking systems of the
vehicle and modify them to support the added weight caused by
the armor.

Then they cut the Spectra Shield® that they install within each
door and pillar/post.

They also place it behind the rear seats to give the passengers
of the vehicle maximum protection.

• They continue the process by covering the battery, fuse box,
and ECM with protective ballistic steel.


Next, they install the nearly 2" thick bullet-proof glass
windows.

These are made to fit OEM window channels, giving them a
perfect factory finish.


Finally, the vehicle is outfitted with high-performance run-flat-
tire inserts.

(Additional options, including defensive capabilities, are
worked in throughout the entire process.)


They then replace the interior of the vehicle just as it
was received. Our technicians pay special attention to
conserve the luxury and beauty of your vehicle while
finalizing every detail.

Now the vehicle is fully armored, yet maintains its
factory appearance.

Once the account balance has been received, the
vehicle is delivered to its final destination.
