Learning Outcome:
Through this project, I now understand what the basic requirement for a submission.
For example, the colours of the drawings must follow accordingly to the authority,
yellow is for concrete, blue for metal and etc. Other than that, there are more than
one type of TNB substation, 2 chamber substation or 3 chamber substatos. For this
project, the area requires a 3 chamber substation which consists of 2 transformer
chamber and 1 switchgear room.

4.0 Conclusion
At Paradigm Architects, a firm that I carried out my internship and being a part of
learning in architecture. As a fresh employee who lack of practical experience, I am
so thankful for being given fair amount of jobs and obtained a lot of guidance from
my supervisor Ar. Teoh Eng Kuan and co-workers. They were so generous to spent
times to share their experience and their knowledge to me. Throughout the
internship training, I could perceive more about the definition of being an architect
and I realise that observations skills and creativity is required to tackle problems that
I faced. Besides, this internship has given me the opportunity to improve my software
skills and how important they are to make our design came true.
In a nutshell, I realised the significance as belows:
I. Time Management
Architects are always packed schedules and running against time to meet deadlines.
Time wastage is not allow, a proper adjustable and flexible time management allows
us to complete works before deadlines.
II. Communication
Teamwork is a must in any working environment, thus communicating and sharing is
needed throughout the process of working.
