introduction
What Is Linear Algebra
The branch of mathematics that deals with vectors,
matrics, finite or infinite dimensions as well as a linear
mapping between such spaces is defined as linear
algebra.
Applications of linear algebra
 Global postioning system(gps)
 Raking in search engins
 Decision tree inductions
 Testing software code in software engineering
 Grapics, facial recoginitions,predictions so on…..
GPS (global positioning system)
The Global Positioning System Is A Space- Based Satellite Navigation System
That Provides Location And Time Information In All Weather Conditions
working:
 a GPS system consist of transimitter (gps satellite) and receiver
 A GPS system uses four satellite at a time to find the location of any given
points.
 A GPS system uses a concept of TRILATERATION .
 Fourth satellite is used to increase the accuracy of position(so minimum three
satellite required to find the location of given point).
A Satellite to measure two things at a time
 Every satellite major the time taken to reach the electromagnetic signal
from it to the reciver.
 By multiplying with the speed of the electromagnetic waves we can
calucate the distance between the reciver(radius of the circle).
Solution using linear algebra…….
