Use of robotics will be essential in construction and maintenance due to multistoreyed structures coming up, safety, quality and limited time available for construction and maintenance activities.
Now days robots are used every where. Most of the robots are used in manufacturing industry. With automation of automobile industry robots are used to work that are hard, dangerous for humans.
Industrial robots have been used in car factories around the world for decades, but those in use today are more advanced than ever.
Car manufacturing robots give automotive companies a competitive advantage.
They improve quality and reduce warranty costs, increase capacity and relieve bottlenecks and protect workers from dirty, difficult and dangerous jobs.
Robots are an absolute necessity for car production companies in order to keep up with competitors due to extremely high demand, the complex nature of the product, and a lengthy assembly process.
There is a range of robotic applications within the automotive industry, and each application is responsible for making a specific process more accurate and efficient.

DESIGN OF A DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE MOBILE ROBOT PLATFORM FOR USE IN CONSTRAINED E...ijiert bestjournal
Mobile robotics is a growing trend in recent years as mobile robots are being used in service as well as industrial sectors. This paper introduces a novel d esign of a mobile robot platform for use in constra ined workplaces. The constrained environments are nothin g but congested places, for example hospitals, ware houses, offices, shop floors where various equipmen ts and machineries are to be arranged in small area s. For robots mobility in such places, various methods are being used such as differential drive system,Omni- directional mobility etc. This paper presents the d esign of mobile robotic platform with application o f the differential drive system for enhancing mobility of the robotic platform. The 3-D Model of mobile robo t is prepared in CAD software CATIA V5R19. The shape of the robot is selected as rectangular, with two driving wheels and two caster wheels. The driving w heels are located at the front side of the robot,w hich helps the robot to drive on to the slope. Two cast er wheels are attached at the back side of the robo t for stability purpose. In this robotic platform, the tw o driving wheels are driven by using independent mo tors, for forward, backward as well as rotational motion. This designed and developed robotic platform has t he capability to implement algorithms for path plannin g,path control, dynamic steering, obstacle avoidan ce,position control, image recognition etc.

Human robot technology collaboration (co bot)Sayantan Raha
Collaborative robots are also called cooperative robots or robotic assistants. A cobot intended for cooperation with humans does’t need to have strictly different design from standard industrial robots which are in conformity with safety standard ISO EN 10218.
Understanding Inductive Bias in Machine LearningSUTEJAS
This presentation explores the concept of inductive bias in machine learning. It explains how algorithms come with built-in assumptions and preferences that guide the learning process. You'll learn about the different types of inductive bias and how they can impact the performance and generalizability of machine learning models.
The presentation also covers the positive and negative aspects of inductive bias, along with strategies for mitigating potential drawbacks. We'll explore examples of how bias manifests in algorithms like neural networks and decision trees.
By understanding inductive bias, you can gain valuable insights into how machine learning models work and make informed decisions when building and deploying them.
Harnessing WebAssembly for Real-time Stateless Streaming PipelinesChristina Lin
Traditionally, dealing with real-time data pipelines has involved significant overhead, even for straightforward tasks like data transformation or masking. However, in this talk, we’ll venture into the dynamic realm of WebAssembly (WASM) and discover how it can revolutionize the creation of stateless streaming pipelines within a Kafka (Redpanda) broker. These pipelines are adept at managing low-latency, high-data-volume scenarios.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

Water billing management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Our project entitled “Water Billing Management System” aims is to generate Water bill with all the charges and penalty. Manual system that is employed is extremely laborious and quite inadequate. It only makes the process more difficult and hard.
The aim of our project is to develop a system that is meant to partially computerize the work performed in the Water Board like generating monthly Water bill, record of consuming unit of water, store record of the customer and previous unpaid record.
We used HTML/PHP as front end and MYSQL as back end for developing our project. HTML is primarily a visual design environment. We can create a android application by designing the form and that make up the user interface. Adding android application code to the form and the objects such as buttons and text boxes on them and adding any required support code in additional modular.

1. APPLICATION OF ROBOTICS IN
CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

2. INTRODUCTION
A building robot is defined as an automated device
employed to perform a building task in a construction
site. It can also be defined as: “automatically operated
machines that replace human effort”. In other words, a
robot is a mechanism guided by automatic controls. Use
of Robotics in construction have been generating much
interest in the construction community from the last
two decades. Development of robotized concepts
started to emerge and even been tested over twenty
years ago.
3. OBJECTIVES OF PROJECT
The general objective of this project is to determine the use
of robotics in building construction.
To review the literature for implementation of robotics in
building construction.
To identify the workability of using robots in building
construction.
To reduce time and save cost in building construction
using robotic applications.
To draw conclusions regarding the extent of success of
building robots.
4. Need for Robots
Fast changing, field-based, industries like construction are
severely handicapped by their lack of accurate, timely and
systematic technical, cost and production data from ongoing
operations. The construction work requires highly skilled
workmen in order to achieve sufficient and consistent quality.
Robots have been designed to support human beings by helping
them to do tedious and dangerous works. The high expectations
of building robotics arrives from the very serious problems the
industry is facing such as :
A high accident rate.
Low quality.
Insufficient control of the construction site.
Vanishing of a skilled workforce.
5. SCOPE FOR FUTURE WORK
It is important to know the real status of building robotics today to
decide what future directions building robotics should take. The
robot has to be “site-friendly” i.e., well adapted to the particular
conditions of the building site. This involves:-
Its performance as a system. All aspects of operation, movement,
materials feeding and transfer must be taken into account in
further development.
Ensuring that its weight does not exceed the permitted level
load.
Its ability to work capacity in restricted spaces.
Its ability to perform different tasks, increasing the extent of its
use.
The ability to operate in the rough conditions of the building site
with minimum maintenance requirements.
