Activity format
This activity uses for collaborative learning through
reflection and dialogue. We used an idea influenced
by the World Cafe method (see
http://www.theworldcafe.com/method.html) which
works well with small and large groups and enables
maximum engagement, interaction and learning.

All flashcard photographs are by Chrissi Nerantzi.
So, what are we going to do?
• groups
• discussion around a topic linked to T & L
• identify common issues linked to this
• how can some of these be resolved through
  mobile apps
• which ones?
• capture problems and app solutions on
  flipchart
• share with another group
communicating

Editor's Notes

  • #2 who we are why we are here ;)Interesting data: http://visual.ly/tablet-vs-smartphones-%E2%80%93-see-how-figures-stack-against-each-other-infographicAlso linked to education at http://visual.ly/education-technology-through-years
  • #5 if we could create a MELSIG YouTube channel, we could ask them to upload short clips (with their ideas) directly to YouTube.
  • #6 Use flipcharts during the activityalso flipchart to capture Top 10 Killer apps – why so special? groups of 4-5 people? If we get loads of people we will have more than 1 group working on the same theme. Then they can compare notes?
