Blind children do not need to learn how to “tell” time. They need to learn how to sense it. BC can’t rely on vision to re-enforce the experience of time, they need an audio or tactile re-enforcement. Children with vision aren’t taught explicitly about the elapse of time. They are expected to take the mental leap themselves between watching the hands on the clock move as a conceptual movement through time and space.
