Curriculum. Jacaranda.
2 Summary In this article Glenis reviews how Hood suggests emotion in her
paintings to evoke a response from the audience. 3 Evaluation Jacaranda,
regarded as one of Australia’s leading publishers of educational material,
invited the author to write this book used as a text by schools implementing
the Australian Curriculum Visual Art subject. This recognition would make
Israel a credible source. 4. Refection This source was used to interpret
Cherry Hood’s artwork “Serenity” painted in 2004. This source contained
several articles that helped to support the thesis “Men are portrayed in the
Archibald prize as unavailable and emotional individuals”.
