This blog is addressed to children in third grade,
They are kids between eight and nine years old.
Environment and Methodology
The English level of the school depends of the
grade: third graders are A1 and they have 3
hours of English classes per week. In the
previous classes that I have been with them,
they are really motivated to learn English in
compare with other grades, and I want to
increase that trough a topic that they really
like, the animals.
Resources
This blog will be ‘’face to face’’ because not all
the students have internet access at home, but at
the school we have all the technology access, we
have a video beam in each classroom, with
speakers, and each teacher have an own
computer. The blog will include a presentation in
power point when they can find some animals
with the vocabulary, songs with the lyrics,
grammar functions and games
Students will develop competence in knowledge
and interaction with the physical world by
recognizing, describing and guessing familiar
animals.

Homework
Students are going to invent an animal with
the previous physical characteristics. They will
find a link when they can update the picture.
