MISE EN SCENE
• Mise en scene: he is dressed in black which suggest he is dangerous. the use of the mask is
clever as provokes the question to who is under the mask, however in the media films the
mask is repeatedly used which makes it repetitive and dull ,it does create enigmas.
• The use of the mask hides the identification of the antagonist but is also used a lot during
the media films so it lacks originality .
MARKING OF VIDEO (CINEMATOGRAPHY)
cinematography : the shots used were a over the shoulder shot , close up
and wide shot.
From these the students have used a concise amount of shot but have
used shots which are stereotypical of their genre to highlight certain
aspects or example the wide shot is used to show how venerable and
isolated the character is .
(MUSIC AND EDITING)
Editing : As the editing is so minimal they cant show there editing skills to
help them to get a better grade. the editing however is motivated around
the character. The editing flows .
The lighting was quite poor in the film so you cant see the
Character in the shot.
music : the music used at the start is a song which his copy righted which
would affect their mark .
THE BLOG
END RESULT
Overall , the video had material appropriate as it was an 18 certificate, the titles were used
correctly as well. However the sound used was copyrighted music and the music used
after didn’t fit the overall theme. The shooting material used was limited and for the first
minute there was only one shot plus it was shaky , however they did focus on the Mise
on scene. However the editing was good as it didn’t jump it all flowed. From all of this I
would give the students for their video 25 out of 60
the research was very basic as they only asks a few questions on their questionaries' but
they wasn’t in detail, they didn’t have a focus group. However they did put out posters.
The time management was good , there wasn’t a lot of care in presentation. There was
basic work on into the audience finding and their work on locations and storyboarding.
From this I would give the group 9 out of 20
on their blog they used a variety of media formats : videos , prezis , voki ,story board that,
social net working and written essays. There was a basic understanding of their
audience. They did develop their preliminary task, but only had a basic understanding of
what their audience wanted. There was a good use of technology. From this in would
give the hollow bodies 11 out of 20 for their blog.
In total the group got 45 out of 100 which
