RESEARCH INTO BASTILLE
Bastille's website and album covers feature cars and use consistent fonts to present continuity. The triangle used as an 'A' in their logo has no defined meaning. They aim for an indie vibe by focusing on festivals and incorporating song names into EP covers. Their social media presence emphasizes Tumblr to target younger audiences. Though their major album 'Bad Blood' uses standard song structures, it has an intense, urgent feeling through classical influences and metaphorical lyrics about insignificance that make the songs unselfish. Their music videos mainly show narratives focusing on individuals' stories rather than performance shots, furthering their indie aesthetic.
