COVID-19 and Well-being: Life in the Pandemic - Key findings - 25 November 2021StatsCommunications
Presentation of the key findings of the new OECD report: COVID-19 and Well-being: Life in the Pandemic by Romina Boarini and Carrie Exton, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the OECD Centre for Well-Being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunity (WISE) and the virtual launch and high-level roundtable.
The information technology and information technology-enabled services (IT/ITES) industries require skilled
human resources to unlock their potential. This will provide the foundation for take-off, which, for now, is falling
short. As envisioned in Digital Bangladesh, the IT/ITES industries can adopt the latest technologies across
different industries and should grow hand in hand with other drivers of growth.
Access to quality higher education must rise to develop future industry leaders in IT/ITES. While the gross
enrollment rate of tertiary education in Bangladesh has more than doubled from 7.7% in 2007 to 17.6% in 2017,
this is still below the lower-middle-income country average of 24%. Demand for higher education in Bangladesh will
surely increase as the economy expands; thus, the question now is what higher education fields should Bangladesh
prioritize for investment. The IT/ITES industries need skilled graduates who can work up to global standards.
This tracer study, which aims to improve the labor market outcomes of tertiary graduates of computer science and
engineering and/or institutes of information technology in Bangladesh, will help in the preparation of a new highereducation project in the country to be funded by ADB, the Improving Computer and Software Engineering Tertiary
Education Project. While that project selected only four universities, this tracer study covered an additional five
universities in Dhaka. I hope that the study findings will prove informative and improve computer science and
engineering and/or institutes of information technology beyond the nine universities included.

India is home to almost one fifth of world’s population living in different states and differ in their ethnic origin, culture and various other ways that influence their health status.
National Health Policy 2017 address the issue of NCDs.
There exist dual burden of NCDs and Infectious and maternal-child disease across different states of India.
This puts challenging situation to Indian Health Care System which must be tackled by larger health investments and a balanced approach in reducing infectious and maternal-child diseases and also blunt the rising tide of NCDs and Injuries.
Since 1990’s, the contribution of most of the major non-communicable disease groups like cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases, mental health and neurological disorders, cancers, musculoskeletal disorders, and chronic kidney disease to the total disease burden has increased all over India.
In 2016, three of the five leading individual causes of disease burden in India were non-communicable diseases, with ischaemic heart disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease as the top two causes and stroke as the fifth leading cause.
In 2016, the NCD burden across India was 9-fold for ischaemic heart disease, 4-fold for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and 6-fold for stroke, and 4-fold for diabetes.
Risks factors like unhealthy diet, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high cholesterol, and overweight, which mainly contribute to ischaemic heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

The current pandemic situation has affected half the world’s students with partial or full closure of their schools. Some schools have started online classes for the students but due to many technological barriers, many students are unable to join these classes. According to the news reports, there were more than 55 percent schools that had seen a reduction in the number of new admission in the new academic year. Many parents have lost their jobs during the pandemic and were forced to stop the education of many students. As per a new report by UNICEF, child labor has increased to 160 million in 2021 which is the first-ever increase in the last two decades for this number. In another report by UNICEF, the impact of COVID-19 has led to an increase in child marriages in some parts of India that account for half of the child marriages all over the world. The lockdown and the financial crisis all over the country have only increased the cases of child marriages and child labor in many parts of the world especially third world countries.
The Paradigm Shift in the Indian Education System during COVID19: Impact, Opp...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
The COVID-19 pandemic is a huge challenge to education systems. Education is the main priority direction and main development indicator in all civilized countries of the world. The COVID-19 global pandemic has upended all the education system across the world. In this time of crisis, a well-rounded and effective educational practice is what is needed for the capacity-building of young minds. It will develop skills that will drive their employability, productivity, health, and well-being in the decades to come, and ensure the overall progress of India. This research paper tries to investigate on the various impact of Covid-19 in education system especially on rural India. We also try to throw light on the different existing and new initiatives by government during the pandemic. The novel coronavirus has transformed the centuries-old, chalk–talk teaching model to one driven by technology. The last 50 years have seen huge growth worldwide in the provision of education at all levels. COVID-19 is the greatest challenge that these expanded national education systems have ever faced. Many governments have ordered institutions to cease face-to-face instruction for most of their students, requiring them to switch, almost overnight, to online teaching and virtual education. We see a drastic rise in the use of various teaching and conferencing technologies which has been explained in this paper, also various advantages and disadvantages to the students in the use of these technologies have been covered in this research paper by identifying opportunities and trends. Finally research has been concluded by providing avenues to future research and a meaningful conclusion.

Predicting the mental health of rural Bangladeshi children in coronavirus di...IJECEIAES
The novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) current pandemic is a worldwide health emergency like no other. It is not the only COVID-19 infection in infants, children, and adolescents that is causing concern among their families and professionals; there are also other serious issues that must be carefully detected and addressed. Major things are identified due to COVID-19, some elements are affecting children’s healthcare in direct or indirect ways, affecting them not just from a medical standpoint but also from social, psychological, economic, and educational perspectives. All these factors may have affected children’s mental development, particularly in rural settings. As Bangladesh faces a major challenge such as a lack of public mental health facilities, especially in rural areas. So, we discovered a method to predict the mental development condition of rural children that they are facing at this time of COVID-19 using machine learning technology. This research work can predict whether a rural child is mentally developed or mentally hampered in Bangladesh and this prediction gives nice feedback.

Introduction
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a crisis in many sectors globally, including the education sector. Since the disease hit the world, efforts have been made to seek alternative lifestyles. It forced the education sector to move away from face-to-face learning, and both teachers and students switched to online learning. Since then, the disease has had impacts like sociological where people cannot come up and learn together, psychological in that people have been stressed up with deaths of their people, and much more on distance learning in adolescents (Ali, 2020). In this case, it is the ninth-grade students of the American High School Academy. The disease has created unprecedented pressure on Miami Dade. On April 6, 2021, the number of reported death cases was 19, and 1,516 new cases were reported. This shows that the infection rate is still very high, despite the slight decrease in the number of infected. The COVID-19 rules being followed in Miami include getting vaccinated, wearing masks to maintain social distance, and disinfecting rooms and objects. The referred center has about 250 students, and their teachers take attendance to classes online, and classes are attended online.

COVID-19 Pandemic impacted food security and caused psychosocial stress in so...Olutosin Ademola Otekunrin
The COVID-19 disease has infected many countries, causing generalized impacts on different income categories. We carried out a survey among households (n = 412) representing different income groups in Nigeria. We used validated food insecurity experience and socio-psychologic tools. Data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The earning capacities of the respondents ranged from 145 USD/month for low-income earners to 1945 USD/month for high-income earners. A total of 173 households (42%) ran out of food during the COVID-19 pandemic. All categories of households experienced increasing dependency on the general public and a perception of increasing insecurity, with the high-income earners experiencing the greatest shift. In addition, increasing levels of anger and irritation were experienced among all categories. Of the socio-demographic variables, only gender, educational level of the household head, work hours per day, and family income based on society class were associated (p < 0.05) with food security and hunger due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although psychological stress was observed to be greater in the low-income earning group, household heads with medium and high family income were more likely to have satisfactory experiences regarding food security and hunger. It is recommended that socio-economic groups should be mapped and support systems should target each group to provide the needed support in terms of health, social, economic, and mental wellness.

As the competition for skilled workers grows, it becomes more difficult to attract and keep those workers who have the requisite training and experience.
Effect of Biopesticide from the Stems of Gossypium Arboreum on Pink Bollworm ...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
Pink bollworm and Lepidoptera development quickly in numbers which is a typical animal group that produces around 100 youthful ones inside certain days or weeks. This assault influences the harvests broadly in the tropical and sub-tropical temperature areas. Thus, to keep up with the yield of harvests the vermin ought to be kept away by utilizing pesticides. The unnecessary measure of the purpose of pesticides influences the dirt, land, and as well as human well-being, and contaminates the climate. Thus, an ozone-accommodating biopesticide is extracted from the stems of the Gossypium arboreum. Thus, the extraction of biopesticide from the stems of Gossypium arboreum demonstrated that the quantity of pink bollworm and Lepidoptera is diminished step by step in the wake of showering the arrangement on the impacted region of the plant because of the presence of the gossypol.

A Study on Factors Influencing the Financial Performance Analysis Selected Pr...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
The growth of a country's banking sector has a significant impact on its economic development. The banking sector plays a critical role in determining a country's economic future. A well-planned, structured, efficient, and viable banking system is an essential component of an economy's economic and social infrastructure. In modern society, a strong banking system is required because it meets the financial needs of the modern society. In a country's economy, the banking system plays a crucial role. Because it connects surplus and deficit economic agents, the bank is the most important financial intermediary in the economy. The banking system is regarded as the economy's lifeline. It meets the financial needs of commerce, industry, and agriculture. As a result, the country's development and the banking system are intertwined. They are critical in the mobilisation of savings and the distribution of credit to various sectors of the economy. India's private sector banks play a critical role in the country's economic development. So The financial performance of private sector banks must be evaluated carefully.
An Empirical Analysis of Financial Performance of Selected Oil Exploration an...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
After the United States, China, and Japan, India was the world's fourth biggest consumer of oil and petroleum products. The nation is significantly reliant on crude oil imports, the majority of which come from the Middle East. The Indian oil and gas business is one of the country's six main sectors, with important forward links to the rest of the economy. More than two-thirds of the country's overall primary energy demands are met by the oil and gas industry. The industry has played a key role in placing India on the global map. India is now the world's sixth biggest crude oil user and ninth largest crude oil importer. In addition, the country's portion of the worldwide refining market is growing. India's refining industry is now the world's sixth biggest. With plans for Reliance Petroleum Limited to commission another refinery with a capacity of 29 MTPA next 16 to its 33 MTPA refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat, this position is projected to be enhanced. As a consequence, the Reliance refinery would be the biggest single-site refinery in the world. Based on secondary data gathered from CMIE, the current research examines the ratios influencing the profitability of selected oil exploration and production businesses in India during a 10-year period.
Since 1991, thanks to economic policy liberalization, the Indian economy has entered an era in which Indian businesses can no longer disregard global markets. Prior to the 1990s, the prices of a variety of commodities, metals, and other assets were carefully regulated. Others, which were not rolled, were primarily dependant on regulated input costs. As a result, there was no uncertainty and, as a result, no price fluctuations. However, in 1991, when the process of deregulation began, the prices of most items were deregulated. It has also resulted in the exchange being partially deregulated, easing trade restrictions, lowering interest rates, and making significant advancements in foreign institutional investors' access to the capital markets, as well as establishing market-based government securities pricing, among other things. Furthermore, portfolio and securities price volatility and instability were influenced by market-determined exchange rates and interest rates. As a result, hedging strategies employing a variety of derivatives were exposed to a variety of risks. The Indian capital market will be examined in this study, with a focus on derivatives.
Theoretical Estimation of CO2 Compression and Transport Costs for an hypothet...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
SEI S.p.a. presented a project to build a 1320 MW coal-fired power plant in Saline Joniche, on the Southern tip of Calabria Region, Italy, in 2008. A gross early evaluation about the possibility to add CCS (CO2 Capture & Storage) was performed too. The project generated widespread opposition among environmental associations, citizens and local institutions in that period, against the coal use to produce energy, as a consequence of its GHG clima-alterating impact. Moreover the CCS (also named Carbon Capture & Storage or more recently CCUS: Carbon Capture-Usage-Storage) technology was at that time still an unknown and “mysterious” solution for the GHG avoiding to the atmosphere. The present study concerns the sizing of the compression and transportation system of the CCS section, included in the project presented at the time by SEI Spa; the sizing of the compression station and the pipeline connecting the plant to the possible Fosca01 offshore injection site previously studied as a possible storage solution, as part of a coarse screening of CO2 storage sites in the Calabria Region. This study takes into account the costs of construction, operation and maintenance (O&M) of both the compression plant and the sound pipeline, considering the gross static storage capacity of the Fosca01 reservoir as a whole as previously evaluated.

Techno-Economic Aspects of Solid Food Wastes into Bio-ManureDr. Amarjeet Singh
Solid waste is health hazard and cause damage to the environment due to improper handling. Solid waste comprises of Industrial Waste (IW), Hazardous Waste (HW), Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Electronic waste (E-waste), Bio-Medical Waste (BMW) which depend on their supply & characteristics. Food waste or Bio-waste composting and its role in sustainable development is explained in food waste is a growing area of concern with many costs to our community in terms of waste collection, disposal and greenhouse gases. When rotting food ends up in landfill it turns into methane, a greenhouse gas that is particularly damaging to the environment. Composting is biochemical process in which organic materials are biologically degraded, resulting in the production of organic by products and energy in the form of heat. Heat is trapped within the composting mass, leading to the phenomenon of self-heating. This overall process provide us Bio-Manure.
Crypto-Currencies: Can Investors Rely on them as Investment Avenue?Dr. Amarjeet Singh
The purpose of this study is to examine investors’ perceptions about investing in crypto-currencies. We think that investors trust in crypto-currencies is largely driven by crypto-currency comprehension, trust in government, and transaction speed. This is the first study to examine crypto-currencies from the investor’s perspective. Following that, we discover important antecedents of crypto-currency confidence. Second, we look at the government's role in crypto-currencies. The importance of this study is: first, crypto-currencies have the potential to disrupt the current economic system as the debate is all about impact of decentralization of transactions; thus, further research into how it affects investors trust is essential; and second, access to crypto-currencies. Finally, if Fin-Tech companies or banks want to enter the bitcoin industry may not attract huge advertising costs as well as marketing to soothe clients' concerns about investing in various digital currencies The research sheds light on indecisiveness in the context of marketing aspects adopted by demonstrating investors are aware about the crypto.
Awareness of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) among Student of the Catanduanes S...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
The Island Province of Catanduanes is prone to all types of natural hazards that includes torrential and heavy rains, strong winds and surge, flooding and landslide or slope failures as a result of its geographical location and topography. RA 10121 mandates local DRRM bodies to “encourage community, specifically the youth, participation in disaster risk reduction and management activities, such as organizing quick response groups, particularly in identified disaster-prone areas, as well as the inclusion of disaster risk reduction and management programs as part of youth programs and projects. The study aims to determine the awareness to disaster of the student of the Catanduanes State University. The disaster-based questionnaire was prepared and distributed among 636 students selected randomly from different Colleges and Laboratory Schools in the University
The Catanduanes State University students understood some disaster-related concepts and ideas, but uncertain on issues on preparedness, adaptation, and awareness on the risks inflicted by these natural hazards. Low perception on disaster risks are evidently observed among students. The responses of the students could be based on the efficiency and impact of the integration of DRR education in the senior high school curriculum. Specifically, integration of the concepts about the hazards, hazard maps, disaster preparedness, awareness, mitigation, prevention, adaptation, and resiliency in the science curriculum possibly affect the knowledge and understanding of students on DRR. Preparedness drills and other forms of capacity building must be done to improve awareness of the student towards DRRM.
The study further recommends that teachers and instructor must also be capacitated in handling disaster as they are the prime movers in the implementation of the DRRM in education. Preparedness drills and other forms of capacity building must be done to improve awareness of the student towards DRRM. Core subjects in Earth Sciences must be reinforced with geologic hazards. Learning competencies must also be focused on hazard identification and mapping, and coping with different geologic disaster.
The 1857 war was a watershed moment in the history of the Indian subcontinent. The battle has sparked academic debate among historians and sociologists all around the world. Despite the fact that it has been more than 150 years, this battle continues to pique the interest of historians. The war's causes and events that occurred throughout the conflict, persons who backed the British and anti-British fighters, and the results and ramifications, are all aspects of this conflict. In terms of outcomes, many academics believe that the war was a failure for those who started it. It is often assumed that the Indians who battled the British in this conflict were unable to achieve their goals. Many gains accrued to Indians as a result of the conflict, but these achievements are overshadowed by the dispute over the war's failure. This research effort focuses on the war's achievements for India, and the significance of those achievements.
Haryana's Honour Killings: A Social and Legal Point of ViewDr. Amarjeet Singh
Life is unpredictably unpredictable. Nobody knows what will happen in the next minute of their lives. In this circumstance, every human being has the right and desire to conduct their lives according to their own desires. No one should be forced to live a life solely for the benefit and reputation of others. Honour killing is defined as the assassination of a person, whether male or female, who refuses to accept the family's arranged marriage or decides to move her or his marital life according to her or his wishes solely because it jeopardizes the family's honour. The family's supreme authority looks after the family's name but neglects to consider the love and affection shared among family members. I have discussed honour killing in India in my research work. This sort of murder occurs as a result of particular triggers, which are also examined in relation to the role of the law in honour killing. No one can be released free if they break the law, and in this case, it is a felony that violates various regulations designed to safeguard citizens. This crime is similar to many others, but it is distinct enough to be differentiated in the report. When the husband is of low social standing, it lowers the position and caste of the female family, prompting the male family members to murder the girl. But they forget that the girl is their kid and that while rank may be attained, a girl's life can never be replaced, and that caste is less valuable than the girl's life and love spent with them.
Optimization of Digital-Based MSME E-Commerce: Challenges and Opportunities i...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
The impact caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic on Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) was so severe and fatal
that not a few went out of business. The heavy burden is borne by MSME actors due to social restrictions imposed by the
government, the declining purchasing power of the people, a product that continues to decline until capital runs out. Plus
inadequate knowledge in carrying out marketing strategies and product innovations are the main trigger for the lack of
enthusiasm for MSME actors as well as bankruptcy. MSME digitalization-based e-commerce is an opportunity and the right
solution in dealing with the obstacles caused by the impact of Covid-19, as well as a challenge for MSME actors to design old
ways in new ways through digital business.
Modal Space Controller for Hydraulically Driven Six Degree of Freedom Paralle...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
This paper presents the Modal space decoupled control for a hydraulically driven parallel mechanism has been presented. The approach is based on singular values decomposition to the properties of joint-space inverse mass matrix, and mapping of the control and feedback variables from the joint space to the decoupling modal space. The method transformed highly coupled six-input six-output dynamics into six independent single-input single-output (SISO) 1 DOF hydraulically driven mechanical systems. The novelty in this method is that the signals including control errors, control outputs and pressure feedbacks are transformed into decoupled modal space and also the proportional gains and dynamic pressure feedback are tuned in modal space. The results indicate that the conventional controller can only attenuate the resonance peaks of the lower eigenfrequencies of six rigid modes properly, and the peaking points of other relative higher eigenfrequencies are over damped, The further results show that it is very effective to design and tune the system in modal space and that the bandwidth increased substantially except surge (x) and sway (y) motions, each degree of freedom can be almost tuned independently and their bandwidths can be increased near to the undamped eigenfrequencies.
It is a known fact that a large number of Steel Industry Expansion projects in India have been delayed due to regulatory clearances, environmental issues and problems pertaining to land acquisition. Also, there are challenges in the tendering phase that affect viability of projects thus delaying implementation, construction phase is beset with over-runs and disputes and last but not the least; provider skills are weak all across the value chain. Given the critical role of Steel Sector in ensuring a sustained growth trajectory for India, it is imperative that we identify the core issues affecting completion of infrastructure projects in India and chalk out initiatives that need to be acted upon in short term as well as long term.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!

ABSTRACT
Coronavirus is believed to have originated from a
wet market in Wuhan, China, and has spread all over the
world, resulting in a large number of hospitalizations and
deaths.Social scientists are just beginning to understand its
consequences on human behavior. One policy that public
health officials put in place to help stop the spread of the
virus were stay-at-home/shelter-in-place lockdown-style
orders.Schools, Colleges and Universities across the country
have now been shut down till now due to Covid-19. Some
Governments in India impose lockdown to reduce the crises
created by this unknown virus. It is now difficult to make
final assessments by school, school leaving examinations and
entrance tests for undergraduate and post-graduate courses.
This disruption implies for students across the socio-
economic spectrum, both in terms of learning outcomes,
food and economic security. Here the aim is to discuss the
implications of lockdown-induced in schools in both urban
and rural areas in India.
The whole world implemented a nationwide
lockdown to curb the transmission of the virus. A survey
was over Five hundred families to complete a questionnaire
with questions around symptoms of depression, anxiety,
stress, and family affluence. The humans who do not have
enough supplies to sustain the lockdown were most affected
Families with affluence were found to be negatively
correlatedwith stress, anxiety, and depression. Stress,
anxiety, and depression more than others are seen in
students and healthcare professionals. The main aim of the
paper is to find out how symptoms of depression, anxiety
and stress on parents due to COVID-19.
Keywords-- COVID-19, Stress, Mental Anxiety,
Depression, Children and Attributes
I. INTRODUCTION
COVID-19 made a diverse range of potential
effects of the crisis, such as reduction of stress, improved
sleep and relaxation, loss of social pressure, more time to
think and improved affect.
Both positive and negative responses of children
and families to this crisis should be understand the impact
on modern daily life routines and environments due to
COVID-19.
This has a positive effect on protecting health,
especially for the elderly and ill people. Children,
adolescents and their parents are usually at a much lower
risk for severe illness, even if there have been rare deaths
in this age range as well. More of children and
adolescents have faced the effects of school closures. In
addition, most other social and out-of-home activities for
children and adolescents have been canceled. They no
longer enjoy positive interactions with their sport
coaches, music teachers, friends and peers. Children and
their families have to share a restricted space at home
withlimited resources and have to change their daily life
and routines to cope with numerous new challenges.
Children are supposed to get home schooling,
supervised by parents. However, some parents are
expected to work as much as possible at home office or,
due to the nature of their job, are confronted with daycare
problems. Support and the help of grandparents and other
family members fall away, as they should avoid contact.
All family members struggle withtheir own anxieties in
this situation and for many families, economic pressure
further increases stress. When a family member dies, the
child has to deal with their grief. Quite often, a
combination of challenges clusters in families with
limited space, job loss, and other known risk factors such
as mental illness/disabilities of family members or single
parenting.
Recruitment is not possible because of home
working and the difficulty of ensuring equity of
opportunity. On the positive side, we see an acceleration
in switching to online training and supervision,
development of e-learning. In the long term, child mental
health is the basis for future adult mental health which is
closely associated with general health and is, thus, related
to productivity and well-being in our society. Although
measures that aim for “social distancing” are important to
protect the health of our society, Effective alternatives for
school closures may be “physical distancing” measures. It
is basically to keep students in classrooms and to
decrease the number of students per class and to increase
space between students.
II. REVIEW WORKS
Around the globe Covid-19 has caused
significant distress. It has caused serious damage to
public mental health apart from infection from corona
virus It is known to everybody that lockdowns and
quarantines are essential to suppressing COVID-1 [ 1].

All persons may leave their residences only for essential
activities or to provide or perform essential functions or
to operate essential businesses. All businesses (except for
essential businesses) are stopped. If employees and
contractors can work from their own residence, then
businesses may continue to operate. Essential businesses
should maintain social distancing of 6 ft. between
employees and the general public [2]. Religious
institutions must limit in-person staff to 10 people or less
when preparing video or teleconference services and must
follow 6 ft. social distancing [3].
Due to Covid-19 it has brought about many
unknowns and thereby causing social stigmatization
towards groups of people, those infected and their family
[4]. Children are affected in the social or educational
domain. These situations have serious health
consequences as well as a risk of late presentation of
corona patient to the hospital [5]. Every disaster has its
learning opportunities and so does the current Covid-19
crisis [6]. Children are now more time to spend with their
parents. School closures gave them awareness that school
and education is an opportunity. Parents get more times
to educate their children on health responsibilities and
involve children in washing hands at regular interval.
Parents are forced to rely on their own skills to manage
children with mild symptoms of any disease and this
might increase parents’ self-confidence in maintaining the
health of their children.
Proposed Method
A study has been made over children of families
in West Bengal, Kolkata, India, on the Attributes- Stress,
Mental Anxiety, Loneliness, Home quarantine, Single
Child or more than one child, Depression, Closure of
Schools, Social pressure and Fear for family Illness for
the effect due to COVID-19. During the study it is fond
that the entire studies will be considered on the three
attributes- Stress, Mental Anxiety and Depression. The
study is made for four months from April 2020 to July
2020. The entire processes are described from Figure 1 to
Figure 5 and Table 1 to Table 6. The analysis shows that
the increase of selected attributes is evident from final
result.
