Analysis of Pendulum’s Digipak
Live at Brixton Academy
Pendulums colour theme in this live
Digipak is red, white and black, the only
colourful thing is the booklet inside the
case you get. The front of the cd has
the band logo and also the same logo
as In Silico but in white this time with
the red writing going through the
            middle.

The back of the cd is the same colour
theme as the front cover but has lots of
people dancing with their hands up
which will be a photo of the crowd
            from the live performance.

Inside the case you get a cd and a dvd
some photos a big sticker and a
            booklet.
Hold Your Colour
Hold Your Colour was Pendulums first album. The
front cover has an eye with some tree like branches
around the eye, most of the cover is green. It also
says Pendulum and hold your colour. Then there is
purple, light green, blue, yellow and white going into
the eye, it could mean keep your personality and
hold your appearance, don’t change for anyone.

The back cover, very similar to the front cover only
has the name of songs and barcode then the same
picture but the purple colour and yellows come from
the hold your colour sign at the top instead of into
     the eye.
In Silico album, very different
Pendulums second
from the first has a blue chipboard at the
back of the multi-coloured circle, it also has a
baby in the middle of the circle. In Silico
means performed on a computer or
computer simulated, which is how lots of
drum and bass is made, probably why there
is a chipboard in the background to show the
computer side of making drum and base.

On the back cover is just a list of the names
of songs in capital letters but a clean easy to
read font. The shade black in the background
shows one of the main colours in pendulums
video’s. `There is nothing else on it that
could determine anything about pendulum.
Posters
The audience for these posters are mainly
male, as the colours and font show. The font
is metallic and hard which is to show
masculinity. The colours in most of the
posters are masculine colours as well.
Summary
The colour scheme is either very colourful or bland
shades, most of the colours are masculine which
represents the artists target audience. The fonts are
bold and look metallic so it shows the masculinity
portrayed in the font and shows the hardness of the
music style.
