2. Mise en scene
In this shot you can see three characters. Nicolas the main character is in the front of the shot. This is done to draw
the attention to him. The other two characters are in the background and they only come into focus when they talk
or make big movements. The setting and background is an old rundown barn which looks very dusty and unused
which gives the viewer the feeling of an unused place but is still able to understand the size of this arsenal. The old
man is wearing old worn out clothes, he has a very grumpy look on his face and he looks very aggressive holding his
gun this was done to make him look unpleasant and weird. He is supposed to resemble a rural farmer who has little
contact with other people. Even though it is a very large collection you and you can see that most guns are very old
rifles they do all still look as if they are working. This is because they don’t look very rust and it makes it all feel a bit
more dangerous.

3. Cinematography and sound
In the shot on the left side you can see that a low angle shot it focuses on the
character. In this case you can see that the shot was used to focus on the facial
expression of the character to set the mood to be quite tense as he is looking at a
sea mine. The sound in this shot is also very tense as it is a slow rumbling mechanic
noise coming from inside the mine. There is also a non diegetic music of a orchestral
track. On the right you have a wide shot showing all characters from the scene
outside. This is used to show the audience the state in which the farm is in (run
down). There is a clear contrast between the characters and the position of the
shot to the wall was used to separate them physically. The sound during this
particular scene is mostly dialogue with a little bit of bird chirp in the background.

4. Lighting
IN the shot on the left hand side you can see that clearly a three point
lighting system was used but with very little backlighting. It gives the
shot a natural office feeling, but an office with not many windows.
For the shot on the right you can see natural light entering a dark room.
This could be considered using back light only as everything in the
room is a silhouette. This is done to make the room feel old and unused
as no natural light get in there. The light is also used to show the dust
flying around which adds to the effect.

5. Fantasy
Fantasy is a genre in which reality differs from ours but is not explained by science or logic but
that they just exist as magic. Magic is what these films often rely on magic to explain what
happens.
In a fantasy movie you will often find fantasy creatures which are often based on mythical
creatures such as minotaur's or dragons. The Props used in these films often are small magical
artefacts such as wands, potions or flying broomsticks. They can be set in almost any time but
mostly either in the past or present possible in the near future but it is very unlikely to be in
the distant future. They can also be set in alternate dimensions or different worlds.

In the clip you can see harry potter enter an arena covered in rocks.
The arena itself is made out of wood and the spectators are all clothed
in normal clothes with banners. This does not represent a very fantasy
feeling but the next thing we see is a giant tail crashing down onto
harry after saw a golden egg which has a magical look to it. After that
we see a full shot of the dragon standing on top of the dragons and it
then starts to spew fire. This is very fantasy as this does not really exist in
the normal word Later on he uses his wand to magically summon his
flying broomstick.
