 Almost all of film noir movies are shot in black and white. This is the
most iconic film noir trait. It brings a lot of the mystery to the
movies which suits it quite nicely as most of the film noir movies
are crime and or drama orientated.

 Film noir movies are very down-to-earth as they don’t leave reality
and are realistic in a sense that it would be possible to happen.
Violence ,sex and death can often be seen.

 A femme Fatale is a female protagonist who often is either a villain
or a sort of price/ maiden in distress. She is always in the centre of
attention and often wears extravagant clothes.
