6. Meaning/Interpretations
The foregoing statement explains
that:Riches and honors are the cravings of man but should not be
ill-gotten.
Poverty and meanness are what a man would not desire to
have but should be accepted in good fate if there is no
morally accepted way to avoid it.
Virtue is the most important factor to be considered in
struggle for self wellness. Regardless of the extreme
situation of things, a meaningful exit must only be
negotiated through the route of virtue.
A poor man with virtue is better than a rich man without
virtue
